Thought he looked lethal coming on against Plymouth. Tired defences won't want to face this guy. Looks a natural too, that dummy to shoot and pass into Dolan was pure class.

Seems to be able to run with the ball a la Rothwell but twice as quick, also like Rothwell he may give it away, or run it out of play more often than not, but really excited to see what he can bring.

Enjoy seeing his pace dashing half the pitch to hunt the ball down

Players of his ilk are definitely going to come with a fair degree of failure and frustration. We have to be prepared to watch him lose the ball a few times in order to see him do something good. Hopefully he is given the freedom to take those chances (in the right areas).

Why did it take 30 days to push the button?

Refreshing to hear the (interim) manager refer to him as “Augustus” and not “Gusto” or “Kargs”.

Well, you know, Kargs and the lads, have, you know, been working hard. We are, you know, really pulling together. The lads are, you know, enjoying it.

Any ideas on the thinking behind only offering him a 2 year deal?

my dad used to make us stand in the "moaning old gits "section of the blackburn end, right at the far end near the riverside fence, they all had their own little clique, they`de moan about anything and everything if it was`nt brotherston they were slating,it was windy miller or jim branagan, none of them could do anything right,if our irish genius had beat all 10 men and smashed it in the top corner, they`de still have had some criticism of him, that lot really were a case!!!!!!!!!!!!!thankfully when my friends and i  were old enough to start going to ewood on our own we stood under the roof with the rest of the "supporters"

Are you inferring that Eustace didn’t want him and was dragging his feet agreeing to the transfer. I thought that they just didn’t want to pay the asking price.

He didn’t want Gueye Didn’t want Ohashi didn’t want Germain didn’t want Batth didn’t want Kargbo didn’t want Mostafa didn’t want Ribeiro & then finally didn’t want Blackburn ……

I know he amounted to nothing due to injuries amongst other things but I remember when Harry Chapman first came on loan there was excitement when he got the ball, he’d run at people and try and make something happen.

This lad is like that, although I was worried at the way he ran on against QPR that his hamstring was about to explode due to his awkward looking running style and pace!
