superniko Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Lucky to be 1-0 here. Buckley, Dolan, Hedges off for Cantwell, Kargbo and Cozier-Duberry. Quote

Devon Rover Posted February 4 Posted February 4 It is amazing we are only 1 down. That was a terrible performance. There is literally no point to an attack including Dolan and Hedges. Lots of running to achieve absolutely nothing at all. Our only threat from out wide comes from our full backs. It's like playing with 9 men and 2 excitable dogs. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted February 4 Posted February 4 No idea how Hedges has carved out a career in professional football. He looks like someone who's won a competition out of the crowd to play with the tdam for the day. 1 Quote
Trinidad Rover Posted February 4 Posted February 4 That was the worst half I’ve seen this season. Pears keeping us in it. Dolan is just bizarre ….thinks he is 10x the player he is. Changes and a rocket up some backsides needed. Fancy Kargbo for hedges. Can’t be worse. 1 Quote

Backroom DE. Posted February 4 Backroom Posted February 4 Positives: We're only 1-0 down Negatives: Everything else Horrible performance so far. Eustace needs to give it the old 'Aggressive', 'Show me something else in the second half'. 5 Quote

Hopefully the curse is lifted tonight. Pears Brittain Bath Hyam Beck Travis Buckley Dolan Cantwell Kargbo Gueye Again - I apologise Quote

SpaceBarSlam Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Well that was a first half that happened. We usually come out of the blocks fast so conceding so early probably threw off our game plan. That's being generous to a woeful performance from a team that look like they did their recovery from the Preston match in the local Wetherspoons. Quote
rovers11 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Get some proper attackers on who can actually play football. Kargbo, Cantell, ACD on. Please never start Hedges again. Absolutely woeful. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted February 4 Posted February 4 we need another body in midfield, even if it means going to 3 at the back Quote

roverblue Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Give Kargbo 45 for Hedges and Cantwell for Weimann. id take Buckley off but rather not see Forshaw 2 Quote
Wegerleswiggle Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Hedges Dolan Weimann off for Kargbo ACD and Cantwell Quote
joey_big_nose Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) Lucky to be still in it. Very even first 15 mins with some good moments from us but from that point QPR more and more in control. Probably should be 2-0. Needs some sort of formation intervention. Need a third man in midfield as we are getting out gunned there but also have someone close to Gueye... Tricky one. Probably Cantwell and Kagbo on for Wieman and Hedges? Ask Cantwell to sit in midfield and tell Kagbo to get close to Gueye? Edited February 4 by joey_big_nose Quote
Cherry Blue Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Poor 1st half. Dolan, Buckley and Hedges useless. Dolan's silly foul, free kick, 0 1. Saw JE shout to dolan as he lingered in no man's land. Changes needed if we are to get anywhere tonight. Quote
Angry_Pirate Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Kargbo - Cantwell - Cozier-Duberry all on for the 3 amigos of God awful. Weimann is basically the attacking midfield version of Jordan Rhodes - he literally offers nothing in the first 90% of the pitch*, knows where to be in the area - if we get there. Gets carried in games he starts. *You can miss me with the "what about the Burnley goal" retort - that was an obvious one off* Quote
Devon Rover Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I so want to like and defend Dolan. I appreciate his effort levels. But several years into his Rovers career (and probably the final few months of it), he is only consistent in his ability to repeatedly lose posession in the most elaborate way imaginable. 2 Quote
jim mk2 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Poor. Excellent Pears save and a couple of last ditch tackles. Could easily be 2-0 Rovers are not a top 6 team Quote
lraC Posted February 4 Posted February 4 7 minutes ago, yankfan said: Really missing Trondstad. Weiman being forced too deep and not connected to Gueye We are now seeing, just how important Tronstad really is. No one there to break up the play anymore and nip in and steal the ball. I thought as soon as his injury occurred, it was the end of our play off hopes and think that’s pretty well correct. 4 Quote
