v QPR (a) - 4/2/2025

Recommended Posts

First thing first qpr are a better side then us, however in the heart of any team is the midfield and ours is I will be kind and say quite bad. Buckley is our play maker lol he passes the ball sides ways or back then just stands  still. The movement off the ball in our midfield is slow and painful.  We are lucky to be only  one down.

Changes are need to our midfield there are three or four players that are  not good enough to get us into the playoff there have been named by others in this thread. Let's hope for a better second half

No idea how Hedges has carved out a career in professional football. He looks like someone who's won a competition out of the crowd to play with the tdam for the day.

Kargbo must have sat in the stands on Friday and be sat on the bench today thinking "fuck me, I'll start every week."

Soft goal.

Predictable misses from our forwards.

Getting overrun in midfield, Dolan average and Hedges stinking the place out.

Would be Cantwell for Hedges at half time for me. Move Weimann out to the left for 15 mins and give us some more control centrally or we could be 2 or 3 down.

Kargbo on for Weimann at 60 mins.

They’ve been much better.

Pearsey doesn't make that save, put it that way.

No power in it really and not in the corner. Pearsey is your man for them bad boys, he is getting that one 😎

We haven't got going yet attacking wise. Gueye has been isolated up front, Weimann dropping too deep, Brittan attacking wise hasn't been able to get forward, Dolan and Hedges haven't influence the game

lucky to be only 1 nil down but we can still positive result from the game

Everything breaks down at the feet of either Hedges or Dolan. Their decision making and use of the ball in the final third  is often poor.

Weimann’s just not involved at all.

Big improvements needed from those 3 in particular after the break.

Still capable of poaching one, useful in around the box

buckley`s latest disapearing act, clearly a good player but awol far to often when he does`nt fancy it,it`s not good enough tbh

Not a good player for me. Needs 20 seconds to pick out a pass. As soon as he's vaguely pressured he crumbles.

Pearsy would have made it look a better save that it was, but still palmed it in the centre of the box for a tap in. 🙊

Gueyes attempt just on half time was again another scruffy attempt, is he capable of catching a ball cleanly? I haven't seen him do it yet.

Only seen him scored headers...something to work on...

What role exactly is Weimann supposed to play for us? He gets off a lot easier than Dolan or Hedges but those two have at least actually touched the ball.

Feel Weimann is getting sucked deep to help Travis and Buckley and then too far to play off of Gueye. TC does this too but has the ability to get involved more in deeper places. The problem for me is the fact Buckley and Trav need that help. Trondstad does so much of that work Buckley just isn’t suited for.
