Genuinely shocked by some of the negative comments regarding Beck. Was up and down the pitch all game and for me looked our best player.

Not saying he was 10/10, but 3/10 a bit unfair!

Funny one with Hedges as I don’t rate him, at least as a Championship winger, but the off-ball run and ball across for our penalty is something you won’t see from Dolan (would need 10 touches), ACD (wouldn’t make that type of run) or Weimann (legs wouldn’t get him there).

He has occasional flashes but in general lacks quality. But I don’t have much good to say about the other ‘wide’ players either.

We really miss not having Travis and Tronstad in the midfield. It was a big mistake not signing a midfielder of decent quality

Seen it all before. Ineffective. Tepid. Impotent. Barely laid a glove on them all game. Gueye did what he could but Hedges and Dolan just aren’t enough of a threat. Cantwell didn’t touch the ball.

Sooner we drop out of the play offs the better. Rather it happen now than delude ourselves into thinking we’re anywhere close to good enough to stay in them.

There are countless reasons we've been poor lately, but the facts are absolutely clear. We are better when Ohashi starts and Gueye is an impact sub.

It’s hard to judge when you’ve got to compare him with a whole other bunch of crap 😂 all 3 are poor.

When was the last time you saw ACD run down the touchline on the outside of a player? Kargo did it to two lads in a row (before the CB came and cleaned it up). 

He's clearly quite quick. ACD is clearly quite slow.

How he continues to trot Pears out there when he's giving away a goal a game is beyond me. Another howler again. If we had their GK it's at least a draw.

Then to only give Kargbo 5 minutes at the end is criminal, especially with Hedges stinking out the joint again. You're not telling me he hasn't been running rings round our players in training - he ran past two of theirs like they weren't there then. 

I’m almost certain he won’t have trained with us at all yet, let alone run rings around anyone. Given we played Friday night, I’m not sure they’ll have trained between then and travelling down to London. The lad is probably only just learning his new teammates’ names, let alone how the manager wants to play etc - anyone expecting him to get anything more than about 10 minutes tonight was always going to be disappointed. 

From the other comments on here, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who is frustrated by Cantwell - I got pelters for mildly criticising him earlier in the season.
He should be made to watch the video of Chair from tonight - the way he finds space, makes dangerous runs and, most importantly, keeps possession for his team - that’s what we want (and need) Todd to be doing, but at the moment he doesn’t look capable 

Also interesting to see Eustace getting a bit of stick tonight. We’ve ridden our luck a bit this season - far too often we’ve been too careless in possession, but good results paper over the cracks. Now we’re on a poor run it’s more obvious that our tactics hand momentum to the opposition too easily.
And whilst we all know that he has been let down in the transfer market by those above him, so has every manager these jokers have appointed. At what point does our poor run stop being a good manager let down and start being a ‘death spiral’?

I think we are really missing Ohashi’s energy. Whilst missing Travis and then Tronstad, I don’t think it is a coincidence that our form has gone south since Yuki got injured at Leeds.

An interesting contrast was they brought their fading midfielder on whose goal won them the game, we brought ours on and lost the midfield

I’d be trying Ohashi up front (when fit) with Dennis and Kargbo either side running oppo defences ragged before bringing Gueye on after HT to allow him his full energy instead of seeing him stutter after 70mins or so.

I nearly said the same, although to be literal a moment, Hedges does have a goal and an assist this season, neither of which Kargbo got in his cameo (understandably). I already feel confident he's a better player though, which isn't hard.

We wont make the play offs, we will scrape the odd game to feel like we are still in but weve seen it all before.

We have been massively boosted by a 6 game spell where we conceded only 1 goal and everyone was playing well beyond their usual level. To be here now is one thing but a typical spell of terrible results means that there is a considerable cluster of teams all trying to be top 2 in a mini league. To try and get to the play offs, over 15/16 games we will probably need to consistently play at top 2 level to finish top 2, ie 5th or 6th.

The usual standard of players is revealing itself. Pears has reverted back to being error prone. Our defence is no longer rock solid. Our midfield is off the boil without 1 of only 2 Championship levels midfielders that we have. And now our consistently poor attack cant get away with nicking 1 goal a game.

No one can see a win at West Brom and unfortunately a Mowbray/Armstrong combination might feel like the hammer blow.

Well beaten. A performance typical of many of late. 

We just aren't of the quality of a top 6/ even top 10 side. 

We'll still have days when we thrash a few teams, but we're not of a high enough standard.

Hedges has one assist all season, Dolan has 4.
