CottonTownBoy
I don’t think you have any worries there, with our set of lightweights. Most of ours struggle to tackle an opponent never mind each other.

Old Codger
So, wheels have come off on the 'togetherness and leadership' fronts and we go into a really difficult fixture with more uncerainty than a rabbit that's burrowed up underneath a black bear's bum. We are still an injury plagued rabble, lacking steel and consistency where it matters. We will be expected to capitulate like a bunch of wet wipes due to the proven tactical nous of the gurning chump and his new talisman, Mr Selfish himselfish. On present trajectory you'd expect us to get our arses handed to us, which is probably a good reason to look for something surprising from our ragbag makeshift nohoper sad-sack rudderless rabble. Not holding my breath. Baggies 4 Baggereds 0 Albion 2 I'll be damned 2 WBA 0 Rovers Run Riot 5 Feck it. Let's just go for it. COYB!
Dan
The iPlayer stream could be interesting. As much as I enjoy the commentary, they are so overly positive at times. Must be difficult for them, I guess it's in their contracts that they aren't allowed to speak badly of the scum that run the club.

Lancaster Rover
Buckley has been one of Rovers better performers in the last 4 or 5 games, he gets a lot of stick on here some warranted, some not so much but he's been one of the few minor positives in recent weeks. Admittedly the bar is currently set at floor height! 3

Who is to say that whoever the new man is will play anyone in the 10/Cantwell role? I'd go with a back 3, Tronstad to replace Buckley when he is back, Gueye up top winning knock downs, flick ons etc, Dennis and Kargbo in and around him, Ribeiro apparently played as left centre back when he was in Poland Pears Hyam Batth Ribeiro Brittain Travis Buckley Beck Dennis Kargbo Gueye Edited February 11 by KentExile

joey_big_nose
With the manager gone feels like we are going to be very dependent on Travis to motivate everyone. Extremely glad he is back - I think hes the only one who can get everyone's heads back up. I wonder what sort of relationship he and the other senior players have with Johnson? Did Trav play under him at youth level? Could form a bit of a double team to lead the side.

Carter is the closest and could be involved against Plymouth Argyle at the weekend, though Eustace stated he wouldn't be rushed. He could also featured for the Under-21s before then to build some fitness after three months out. Tronstad and Ohashi are slightly further behind but should return before the end of February. That would leave only Harry Pickering, expected back after the March international break, and Scott Wharton on the treatment table. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24922883.blackburn-rovers-contract-latest-positive-injury-boost/ Edited February 11 by KentExile
Lancaster Rover
I do wonder if the players may feel somewhat used/hoodwinked by Eustace (regardless of wider club issues in the board lying to JE) in terms of togetherness, etc and it become something that further galvanises the group. With them wanting to stick 2 fingers up and get themselves in and around the playoffs for the remaining few months.

We'll just slowly drift to 14th in the table and that will be that, unless the new manager is some kind of genius.

The rumour that Trav refused a meeting with JE yesterday, I took that as he was pissed off with him. I might have got the wrong end of the stick with that though?
