The rumour that Trav refused a meeting with JE yesterday, I took that as he was pissed off with him.

I might have got the wrong end of the stick with that though?

And he has every right to - you can't preach to the players and fans about togetherness and then jump ship like he has. This isn't to take the light off Waggott and the owners - but to an extent JE knew what he was getting into, and yet abandons the players when they have an outside chance of a career high.

shall we play guess the line-up for Wednesday for whoever is picking this team?

I reckon:
Pears
Brittain Hyam Batth Beck
trav buckley
Dolan Cantwell Kargbo
Gueye

Not sure whether whoever comes in will think Dennis has it in his locker to start midweek after playing against wolves with so little lack of game time. Would probably make more sense to have dennis coming on when kargbo blows up so we always have an outball to get us up the pitch.

Personally I hope Cantwell isnt starting, he looks very uninterested, either injured or he got ear of eustace leaving, or hes simply a lazy luxury. Hes not the type when your in the trenches.

Surely a free hit for West Brom and old TM this.

Will our players be sulking or angry? Hope the latter.

Johnson did a decent job in his game vs Stoke last year (no chance that was a Eustace win). Seems popular so perhaps the players rally after a Trav inspired motivational speech.

It's a tough ask for a win but you never know. If we go back to type at the back and WBA go back to when they couldn't win a game to save their lives we have a chance of nicking one.

The bizarre nature of the Championship is such that I am not really sure whether not having a manager makes a loss more likely tomorrow. In the longer term yes... but in terms of tomorrows game it may be the team ends up more motivated. New manager bounce etc...

In a really strange and perverse way I am looking forward to this game when my head is telling me I should be dreading it. I'm curious to see who is in charge, the team they choose and how we set up tactically. But probably the thing that intrigues me most is how the players react given that the vast majority of them seemed to be behind Eustace.

My gut tells me that they will be professional and put in a real shift but a nagging doubt is that some might use the last couple of days as an excuse.

As ever in an away game I'll take a draw but whatever comes it will be good to watch Rovers playing and, for a short time on allt the other nonsense to the back of my mind.

Sorry if its been mentioned above, have they actually announced who's in charge tomorrow night?

They haven't, it's probably last days of Rome style Chaos at Ewood tonight.

They'll probably announce tomorrow as the team boards the bus that it's Johnson

Nope, I have email the club this afternoon asking who is in charge for the game and who took training today. No response, email sent around dinner time ish.

Can @K-Hod, @Mike Graham @Miller11 mention to the club management in the next manager about the lack of clear communication to the Rovers fans about who would be in charge of the WBA game and who is taking charge of training whilst Eustace and his staff are in talks with Derby

Saw this on youtube:

2 goals from Dennis at Bernabeu. Hopefully he will grab his first tomorrow.

That's got to be the clumsiest pair of goals I've ever seen.

Left field suggestion: If Travis is being particurlarly vocal and upset about Eustace walking out perhaps he should be made player manager for the game?

He'll either be a resounding success or realise its not as easy or clear cut as it looks.

This is the ultimate licence to print money game.

We are in disarray and morale must be on the floor.

You can get evens, or close to, on WBA win and 2/1 on  Armstrong to score anytime.

Fill yer boots!

Dear Mr Chadwick,

None of your business.

Sorry if this sounds rude, not wanting to be personal, but why would the club respond to you or any fan who emails them asking for info about first team players and management? No matter how badly we are run?
