Unfortunately I expect us to get bummed tonight, very bummed indeed.

3-0 WBA.

No, that's only lightly rogered. Very bummed would be 6 without reply.

Not having that though - the team is well acquainted enough to know what they are doing, so unless they just don't turn up mentally, I'm expecting us to deliver a manly 'feck you' performance.

....And then I woke up.

COYB!

Don't see how you can play both Cantwell and ACD in a midweek away match against a tough opponent. If you are going to play Cantwell you'd need someone like Dolan / Hedges / JRC alongside. I accept the fact that all 3 of those aren't good enough but in our position they at least provide some physical presence and /or workrate.

Don’t see how you could play either of them. Both been a liability of late.

He beat us at St Andrews when he took over Brum last season (or one before, can’t remember)

Also beat us with Sunderland twice, boxing day 2022 & September 2023.

He beat us when he was a Sunderland, I think it might have been home and away. The away game was when Sims scored in injury time on Boxing Day and I think the home match, we should have been absolutely out of sight after 30 minutes !

It feels as though there will be a complete lack of leadership in the dugout tonight, regardless of who's standing there with their hands in their pockets.

In my opinion any chance of a result rests with Lewis Travis. As the captain and leader, he can either help galvanise the team or be distracted by what's going on off the pitch. I hope he gets the lads playing for personal pride, and for the fans. We need him right now. Tactically, the squad are fairly well drilled. Get their heads in the right place and we stand a chance.

As Eustice once said, no excuses 😉

Its crazy how winnable on paper our 7 games are after this.. last 4 or 5 not so much.

Shame the next two months will likely be chaos and a carry on of our bad form. In theory the interim guys can carry on how we were playing but with better players up top.

Losing a manager in this fashion does make you feel hopeless doesnt it.

I normally pump sunshine, however, I can’t rise to the occasion with this one. Rovers playing a club higher on the table, at their house, with our former manager, & one of the most popular players while he was at Rovers.

I haven’t forgot, we cannot score.

3-0. I’d love to be wrong. COYB!!

You know what happens, we will get a result, of some kind tonight, and Plymouth will roll us over 2-0 on Saturday.
