"Defeatist attitude."

Why does it have to come down to attitudes, defeatist, negative etc. Its not a counter argument.

Cos we have a very good chance of top 6 given we are in the playoff place currently and we have to hope our new signings can hit the ground running and we can get a playoff place.

I truly like our roster. Despite 7 1st-teamers absence, Rovers have held up fairly well, & Dennis, Woodrow, et al., could help bolster our playoff chances.

Credit to Eustace for all this.

VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

They ain't leaving though?

They will go when they feel like it, nothing you can do or say will change that, they are billionaires happy with making a loss year after year, just somewhere to put there money.

You can be "venkys out" but also want your club to succeed at the same time, losing games won't do anything to change venkys mind, venkys will exit when venkys want to exit.

I know to a point it’s just accounting ‘formalities’ but they seem to have admitted this themselves (snippet from Venkys London accounts):

Have the auditors accepted this assessment?? Seems to be utter BS to me. Impairment test based on likely promotion😂 based on what’s going on during transfer windows, with contract renewals and generally in the ‘football department’ there is absolutely nothing to suggest that promotion is likely, the auditors (or directors, for that matter) apparently know nothing about football. For that impairment assessment to be correct Venky’s London would just have to invest A LOT more than what they are currently doing.

Do you actually go to games? It must be bleedin’ obvious even in your one-eyed world that Rovers are not good enough to finish in the top 6. Nowhere near.

Full strength team is well within of a chance, we are already there right now.

It's a miracle with the utter lack if wins we have had, but it's more than possible, going off our previous results of late, it doesn't look likely, but you must know full well we have it in us to go on a winning streak, I do admit though it's unlikely.

You wouldn't know where we are going to end up anyway, stick a large bet on us not making the top 6 if you're so certain, NOBODY can predict this league and certainly not our team.

What a stupid question, I am STH for plenty of years Jim now. Over 25 years now. Plus some away games every season

yet we are 6th tonight.

I don't think Jim is responsible for us losing.

I don't think you are responsible for the January transfer window.

Everyone keeps bleating about us not being good enough for the top top six. Yet we are 6th and it's now February.

We have been here before

8 points from 11 games .Shite Transfer window again.Manager being linked with every club going. Small squad being stretched and missing key men.

Can you really blame people for thinking we won't finish in the top 6?

If we don't start picking up wins soon we will be down in 9th or 10th and top 6 will be a distant memory

Look how much ground the likes of Coventry, Norwich,  Sheff Wednesday,  Bristol City ,Qpr etc have made on us in the last couple of months

Boro ,West Brom and Watford have had spells of poor form and inconsistency during our bad run

West Brom have arguably made the signing of the window in Armstrong imo,  the guy is guaranteed goals for them. And yes Boro lost Latth but they have brought in good signings on paper

Its very hard to be confident of top 6 right now

9th or 10 th might be optimistic. If teams around us win their games in hand we go 8th and only 5 points separate us from 14th.

Sounds like a poor crowd, unsurprising really but going to be embarrassing seeing nearly as many Wolves fans as our fans 😂 we all know the context (digital only, not priced well, bad form etc) but my worry is how a crowd under 10k will look to Eustace and the new boys.

I don't think anyone can moan at the price to be honest.

I think Eustace now understands why the crowds are as they are. The new boys, I agree on. It might come as a bit of a shock to them tomorrow.

No, probably not. I heard it's something like 5k home tickets sold which is absolutely crazy.

All very good points.

I'm neither confident or pessimistic. It's all to play for and I don't know if the new lads can make a difference.

For balance we have played Burnley, Sunderland. Leeds and Sheff United in that period and had a lot of injuries.

When you watch the highlights programme, a lot of championship grounds are like that for the early rounds, it isn't just us.

But it's demoralising as a fan, never mind a player, to be walking into the ground when it's so empty.

And that's with us having a good season and with us still in a play off position. God knows what it would have been like if we'd had the season everyone was expecting.

Not sure it's that low

Looking at the planner and a quick calculation in my head there was around 4500 available in JW and bbe.... riverside looks diabolically empty though

Pissed off for my lad tbh...at 14 born at the wrong time and he's looking forward to playing a premier league side 😬

Yeah I agree its a fools game to predict where we will end up this year. We go on winning runs then losing ones.

We've got a chance with the new signings, players coming back from injury, less intense schedule etc we have a decent run now.

Next season worries me as I can't see how we replace the players we lose. But this season looks okay enough to just see how it plays out.

Think Eustace will go at some point in the next 18 months as well. We are one bad managerial appointment from being in the real doo doo.
