Next season will be tough and the season after will be guaranteed league one (if we aren't there already) as Tronstad, Hyam, Travis and Brittain will all walk out the door for free and replaced with free transfers. Indeed, this season is now starting to have the same feel as the one when Lambert was in charge. We all know what happened after that. 1 Quote

The fixture just doesn’t appeal after the shambles of the transfer window, the recent let downs and the stupid kick off time. A quarter final, one game off Wembley, would be a different situation and different appeal. This is the correct awnser Quote

It will be chaotic due to being the approach to the ground for many of the 4500 Wolves fans making the trip from the MIdlands. There is a diversion in place, but it won't cope well will the extra traffic. Be warned! Be early! And B R F C S forget the gloom and doom sayers, it's a game and we want to win! COYB! Back open but with 3 way lights now Luckily for us the wife’s business was allowed to stay open yards from the closure but it was chaos Thursday Quote

We all know what happened after that. Indeed, I often think Lambert is looked back on negatively by the majority of Rovers fans when I thought he had us playing some great stuff in patches with a very average team. Very similar to Eustace in adopting a pragmatic approach. Sold a pup by the owners and walked at the first opportunity. Some PR heavy lifting by various people at Rovers has since sullied what was a decent stint that was on an upward trajectory before being harpooned. 3 Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted February 9 Posted February 9 That central midfield. Almost like someone is making a point. 4 Quote
Gordon Gekko Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Need Travis centre mid for this 100%, daft putting them two together centre mid Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Midfield awful but I'm all here for that front 4. Excited to see what Dennis & Kargbo can bring. Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I was planning to watch today’s game out here in Spain. After the overnight news my heart isn’t in it. 3 Quote

WacoRover Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I like this lineup. It’s a risk, but we’re playing a PL club, albeit, a poor one. Rovers can win this. Quote

roverandout Posted February 9 Posted February 9 The fact he's throwing most of our new signings into the team straight away strikes me as he's off. He's probably seeing what they can do for the summer when he's planning derby's summer transfer activity. Normally a manager would bed them in slowly Quote

Uddersfelt Blue Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Doesn’t look like a cup upset is on today. Maybe at Plymouth! Quote
oneandycrawford Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Right call to leave Trav out if (and it's a very BIG if!) we still want to have max chance of play-offs. With Eustace presumably on his way, it will at least throw up opportunities to surface the ongoing issues around the ownership. Quote
