  • Kargbo while clearly a lively sort, you can tell he has no end product. Is at least exciting in that he runs at players.

I can't rule out that he has no end product just yet.

What I can clearly see is that the addition of pace is stretching teams and stretching the play. Buckley looks like he has an age to pick a pass because Wolves can't just relentlessly press him, knowing we have no outlet.

Cantwell has become exactly what Rangers fans said he would be. He's not really creating anything, and defensively he's been a total liability. I'd be tempted to move Buckley forwards when Travis comes back in for the league.

Never a penalty, ever, not even close for me

Correct. He was looking for it and manufactured the contact. Was two thirds of the way down before the "contact" occurred.

Very poor offside decision though, it never felt offside even to the naked eye.

Hyam's goal was well onside, shocking decision.

Surprised to see a few 'Forshaw is shite' comments - today he's been decent, so far.

I'm a Cantwell fan, but he has to take responsibility for that first goal; loses the ball softly in a bad area.
GK needs to do better, of course.
Takes some doing to look a worse choice than Pears, but Toth is managing that quite well at the moment.

Pleasantly surprised with Kargbo, seems to be what we wanted ACD to be.

Is that definite? I thought we are still in rumours?

They've made an official approach.

You don't make an official approach without reassurances from the manager that he'll leave.

The sad thing is - Kargbo, Dennis and Ribiero are exactly the type of players we needed on Jan 1.

Karbo has left the foot in to be taken, there is an argument over whether its a penalty or not, but a booking was a terrible decision.

Exactly. He tried to win a penalty by deliberately making contact with the defender.

They do sometimes get given, but shouldn’t be.

Yep. Perhaps I'm being cynical on the end product, it's just a gut feeling. It just looks to me like after he's done a few stepovers if he hasn't beaten his man then he has no clue what to do with it. The disclaimer is he is up against much stronger opposition than you'll get in the Championship though.

Even in that situation - if he's dragged you up the pitch like that hopefully he learns to just lay it off (or play it to the overlapping FB) if the stepovers have failed.

A deeply frustrating player. Can't understand what he's trying to do half the time, and the other half he is sluggishly dallying on the ball, or being petulant off it. It's like playing with 10 men.

Which is why I'm confused by all the never ever a pen comments.

Hangs out a leg in the box, misses ball, makes contact, attacker goes down.

Pretty standard facts. It's a debate as to whether AK milked it, but see it as a 50/50 call personally.

And as others have said, booking seems harsh. Ref can just not give it and play on.

I disagree that he “hangs a leg out”.

He does nothing at all, Kargbo was the guilty party.

We got done by the offside decision, but not that one.
