I know for a fact the manager in work that was interviewed yesterday was Damien Duff.

Surprised at that, he was managing Shelbourne last night.

If the players want him then we might as well give it to Lowe until the end of the season.

I'm absolutely terrified of someone new coming in and trying to make their mark with bit changes etc

All we need now is encouragement and game management.

Our job looks a lot more promising now, next year if in the championship not so much. Get someone decent now, only take a defeat for heads to drop and fans to start moaning why haven’t we got anyone 😂 lose lose either way.

Seeing Kenny there today made me wonder about an outlandish idea - bring him in as manager in name, while leaving the day-to-day to Lowe, Johnson, et al. Its been a decade or so since he was active and it didnt end well at Liverpool, but he would be a big inspiring name, and also the continuity candidate who wouldn't look to instill his prescribed style of play. With his history with us and the anniversary, it would be poetic if we then somehow win the play-offs...

Still don’t think give it Lowe, it’s one thing holding the fort with no expectation long term, as soon as there’s a extended period it’s a different matter

Credit to Lowe and the players. The opposition have also been abject in the last 2 games.

Plymouth are the worst side I've seen at Ewood in many a year.

I don't rate Rooney as a great manager, but nobody could get performances out of that squad.

Think Id give it to Lowe and DJ now. We have looked really good, if we bring someone in they might have an adverse effect as they try and change things or impact the team spirit.

Edit - I would say manager decision announced after Swansea gane just to give a bit more time to check the wheels dont come off.

The more I think about it, the more I fancy Duffer... Him and Damien Johnson you'd expect to have a good relationship..  Could be a positive chemistry .. Played under some very good managers too..  Rather see one of our own have a crack than a O'Neil to be honest with you...
