Well, I hope people realise by now that David Lowe is not the right guy for head coach. By the looks of it, he seems to wanting to emulate Eustace in terms of both tactics and starting XI but it´s telling that he has no clue in changing his approach when trailing by a goal or two. I firmly believe he managed to win the first two matches simply because the team scored the first goal and they could stick with the same tactics and setup throughout 90 minutes. Today he was tested and couldn't muster a response from the side.

Just really tiresome of seeing the same players on the pitch underperforming game after game (Hedges, Dolan, Weimann). Putting in one good performance every four or five matches is not good enough at this level.

At least the pressure is back on for the board to make a decision ahead of the Norwich game. They now know full well that hiring Lowe as HC isn't going to sit nicely with the supporters.

Do they care? I seriously doubt it!

You have to wonder what has been going on this week behind the scenes to produce that performance. We were so woefully off the pace it was baffling.

It looked like a group of players in mid table, limping along to the seasons' end with nothing to play for.

Thats what happens when you are near to the end of your contract with no new deal being proposed. Why risk a career threatening injury for employers who care absolutely nothing about you?

I've now got a bad feeling about the impending appointment following the capitulation I've just witnessed.

Need a new head coach appointment early next week. Over to the Rovers club management to deliver.

Thanks for Lowe and the staff plus the players for the last 2 wins before Swansea game.

Its going to be interesting who they go for.

Early next week? We needed the replacement in last week

Mad isn't it? You would think (hope) this is final game before an appointment, it's going to be the first tape the new manager watches back. How do you sell yourself as a "first name on team sheet" to a new manager with a performance like that?

Id imagine management were desperately hoping we'd win today then they could have given it Lowe until the end of the season as by far the cheapest and easiest option following which we could drift tamely out of the picture.

Giving it Lowe now would look too much like an act of sabotage even for them so after 2 weeks, let's see how far along we actually are with the search. My guess would be not very.

Someone inspiring with a fresh eye and one or two new ideas needed.

I bet Waghail are cacking it at the prospect if they bring someone new in they'll get us over the line.

They'll need to sabotage our chances in the 6 pointer v Norwich next weekend. A new manager bounce and proper appointment would give us a good chance of bouncing back from today to make it 9 from 12. That's no good to them, so expect they'll drag it out to Thursday or Friday minimum ensuring the new bloke can have minimal input in time for the next game.

Once we are playing catch up to all the other sides it will be a much tougher sell and job.

If no one is in position by the start of the week and/or if he isnt a good choice, will you be critical?

Pretty sure they had Sunday and Monday off. Then I read that they had Thursday off too?! I mean WTF. Little wonder the tools were downed to an extent.

Exactly the reason we needed a new man in ahead of this weekend. Less of the back patting and pally act.

This team seems to fight for it more when they're up against it....but when the pressure releases a little bit and here's an opportunity to really kick on they just never take it. I suppose this is what a lot of fans of other clubs say though. Such is life at a good chunk of championship clubs....no less frustrating though!

Looked like the seniors have taken over the ship performance …. Lowe picking Forshaw over Buckley & Hedges & Weimann selections were strange …….Lowe has fast tracked Forshaw out of nowhere…….Got completely ran over in middle of the park & absolutely no creativity From the wide areas …… Lowe back to scouting future opponents I think … He comes across as weak ….

You are a naive eternal optimist.

I think our club is a complete shambles run by an incompetent executive management, the likes of which I have rarely come across and I've seen some dross!  Can you not see this?

Mercer, you have probably missed my points about the lack of reinvestment in the squad from sales and lack of contract renewals happening this season with yourself being away from the messageboard but my passion and belief in my football club will always be there and

Oh, so now you’re not relaxed and there’s a rush, hey? 😅.

Given its been around 10 days since Eustace officially left and given that Rovers management have been in London this week before Swansea meeting candidates to become our next head coach

hardly rushing is it?

What happens if the next head coach is someone we know little about, how can you be critical and surely you need to judge on results and performances?

I said we need a appointment by Tuesday to allow the new head coach 3 training sessions with the players
