New manager wishlist

Unfortunately the £600k pa salary tracks if you assume Venky's are not putting any additional money into the club. If we guess Eustace was on around £600k, and factor in his compo to be between £500k - £750k (conflicting info from different sources) you'll end up at around £1.2m. £600k and a 2 year deal (or 2 years + a few months into June) would mean a manager coming in on £600k pa essentially costs them no more than they had already budgeted for.

Zero ambition, as usual.

I wish someone would pay me £600K a year. I might be able to buy a pot to piss in.

Well we are 6th and we have made a number of successful signings who have all had an impact on us being 6th, so I don't know what your issue is. the head coach isn't in charge of recruitment for the reasons I posted to RevidgeBlue on the structure question he asked

I was open minded on the appointment as I said at the time. I expected a foreign head coach to be appointment cos they are used to coaching the team and allowing the Director of football and the recruitment team to scout and find the players for the head coach to pick from the shortlist

Wagner's CV has promotion on it, playoffs pace on it and he keep his promoted Huddersfield in the PL.

happy with either but its looking like Ismael will be appointed

Coyle's CV has a promotion on it. Is he better than Eustace?

Being 6th doesnt mean that the structure of the football club is functional. It doesnt mean that those behind the scenes are doing a good job. Eustace undoubtedly was getting every last drop out of a squad that is limited on ability but also gives its all.

You mention that the head coach picks from a shortlist as if that process was perfectly executed under Eustace. Clearly he wasnt happy which suggests it was not always his pick from the shortlist.

I thought you would prefer Wagner because of the aforementioned promotion.

Remember when we were quite safely tucked away in 5th?

I always thought it would be foreign head coach that we appoint as Eustace's replacement. Its fits with our club structure.

Give over Chaddy.

The only "structure" here is doing everything on the fly season by season and by doing it as cheaply as possible.

Please don't kid yourself that there is any real structure going on here.

Ismael and Karanka were my two absolute no-no’s so I should expect it to be one of them.

Wagner is like Klopp compared to Ismael.

A West Brom fan i regularly work we says it was absolutely painful watching them under him.  Watford fans online (a fan base who generally feel sorry for their managers that don’t last long) also slate him.

Nicko suggesting is moving fast in appointing Ismael

Which says it all - Nicko has about as much a clue as my arse. And moving fast eh? FFS if they move any slower, it will be next flaming season. Arse!

Not interesting in speaking about fucking Coyle. Dingle simple as. Shouldn't be nowhere near our great club.

The recruitment department have done a good job this season in recruit good players wouldn't you agree?

Eustace has decided to leave for his own reasons. big decision by him. We need to focus on the now and future under our new head coach

Part of me hopes it’s Ismael… so that I can stop buying a season ticket.

had enough of the club and a Cooper, Gerard or O’Neil type appointment would have kept me going.

Ismael or Wagner will just flatten the faint hopes of the fans and the players.
