Should have got on Wicki at 20/1.

Looking increasingly likely as the loons are not meeting O'Neil's conditions of supporting the club. If they didn't support JDT and JE, why would they support someone who isn't in post?

Whilst it wouldn't surprise me in the least, I assume this is guesswork?

Should be at least close to an appointment now surely

Andy Bayes saying that Lowe will be in charge this weekend, and after over 100 applicants for the job the last few days have been spent "shortlisting", and that interviews will begin soon.

No rush with this lot is there!

Probably desperately hoping lowe wins again so they have the perfect excuse to give him the Job full time as he won't kick up a fuss

Either thats a guess/assumption or someone has leaked/divulged sensitive information from a formal interview process?

If its the latter I can't imagine what benefit (he or she who leaked the information) would gain for themselves or the club. If that is true then Rovers are run even more amateurishly than we all fear.

I am very pleased the Boateng and Boa Morte rumours have calmed.

i remain uninspired by the Oneil rumours as he comes across as a bit bland and has little Championshop experience.

I personally don't think theres any rush and I'm in the 'if it isn't broke don't fix it camp'.

I'm happy to rely on the players to self police unless the wheels fall off.

We lost loads of games under Eustace. If we lose to Swansea it's not Lowes fault. We could easily lose any game under a new manager.

Meanwhile if we keep playing with this energy, quality and intensity, it would be absolutely foolhardy to change things just for the sake of change.

Let's see what happens at Swansea. 100% records are not to be sniffed at and its perfect timing for us to be gaining maximum points.

The outcome of the managerial search will have a huge bearing on the reaction now. Act quickly and regardless of the choice there would be at least some who would applaud the signs of a plan in place.

However, if they're truly going through 100-150 applicants, taking weeks and then we still end up with someone like Boa Morte and Boeteng, it would be clear that there is no real effort to push on.

With a long time to consider, and a long list of applicants, there should be no excuse for not getting a top candidate. Of course, this is Venky Rovers, so who knows.

Do people actually 'apply' for the role of manager of a football club. Is someone at the club receiving CVs from the Bradford manager.

I'd have thought it would just be Manager tells agent he'd be interested, agent contacts club, club decide if they want to speak to them (and also vice versa with club contacting managers' agent).

Seems strange, and somewhat unrealistic that people would be 'applying' for the job in this industry, and for over 100 to do so.

Wasted 6 games getting players in during January. What's another 3 games without a manager?

Clowns.

Do you mean bland as a person or bland with his football? I'd rather bland than eccentric. I'm not too bothered if he can inspire the fans as results will do that. As for the players, there's different ways to inspire them.
