(Not this thread but on others and elsewhere online) He has been manager for 3 seasons in the Championship and finished 6th Swansea, 4th Swansea and 4th and promoted with Forest. The bloke has never finished outside the playoffs in the league. Has a 48% win percentage in the league. Now, in terms of realism - there’s not a cat in hells chance he’d come to this clown show More his wage demands and waggot not giving him the wages for FFP

Think Oxford fans thought the same as we feel with Eustace when they sacked Buckingham. Des Buckingham: Oxford United fans react to head coach sacking Proved their appointment of Rowett has set them on fire. could also start ahead of Pears and Toth too. 1

Nipper1875 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Surely one man on the list should be ERIN TERZIC IF THE CLUB AS ANY AMBITION at all we should be making a phone just asking if there would be interested done very well as manager - would be costly but not in a job & german football very close to english football in styles but surely we should be going for a big push instead of the likes of gary oniel for christ sake 1

It's the kind of thing John Williams would have tried, but this lot? They can't handle any manager with ambition, so there's no chance. Wouldn't be surprised to see Terzic managing Brighton some time soon. They are doing what we used to do. 1

Lucimo Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I can definitely see it being some random foreign appointment if Rudy has owt to do with it. Then again, not heard from him for an age so who knows he may have fucked off aswell.
had.e.nuff Posted February 11 Posted February 11 with this lot in charge we are more likely to get" he who shall not be named" back as he is free now

Not really, doesn't make sense one game into the season, also from Ridsdale; “I'm sure it is [a surprise] to a lot of people. Ryan asked to see me yesterday. He'd obviously been going through a difficult time, because we ended last season badly. In the last five games, we got no points and didn't score a goal. It was a difficult atmosphere on Friday at Deepdale after we lost. “Ryan came in yesterday, asked to see me and said: ‘Look mate, I always told you when I thought I couldn't take it any further, I'd tell you, and I can't take it any further. So, if we can agree between us to go mutually, I'll shake your hand and we'll sort it out'. And that's what we've done.” Anyway Lowe is a big no from me, he wasn't best liked at PNE straight from the first day in his job (I'm speaking from an ITK perspective!). 5

simongarnerisgod Posted February 11 Posted February 11 be aware that there is a whisper that steve bruce fancies the job
Hasta Posted February 11 Posted February 11 After the recent incoming players being all short term, I fear the club would struggle to offer more than an 18 month contract to a new manager There will be very little security in it for whoever comes in, who will also surely realise the impending squad problems. I think even then likes of Edwards could just pass on this ‘opportunity’. 3

There is no loyalty in football but Bruce is definitely the least loyal of them all. How many times has he bailed on a club now? That aside, I'd take him over Ryan Lowe 😂
had.e.nuff Posted February 11 Posted February 11 what annoys me about all this is if he turns the derby job down there is no way he can come back so we end up having to pay him off ,it seems to taking a long time for it to be confirmed considering they where so keen to get him.

He won't turn it down at this point...it's too far gone and they'll have pretty much already discussed terms before the approach was even made. Clubs only make an official approach for a manager / head coach if they know that they can get them in.

If you think they're going to now spend money on an ambitious manager... well actually you're probably spot on, it's the kind of utterly, utterly bonkers thing they do. The clowns. 3
