Might gave been a bit later, I think he played at Liverpool on cold January night, when Kenny scored the winner near the end.. 4 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted February 12 Posted February 12 This is really sad news . He couldnt have been that old. I got to know him a bit a few years ago when he was Landlord of the Royal Oak on Pleckgate Rd. Really nice guy. RIP Paul. 2 Quote

He went to the same school as me and was a legend there for years after, being the local lad, who played for his home town team. RIP Paul. 2 Quote

arbitro Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Paul lived our dream as a Blackburn lad who played for Rovers. He was a really friendly man, I spoke to him on the JW concourse recently and his love of Rovers never waned. He was also still heavily involved in the Rovers ex players group. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Paul. 5 Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I didn’t see much of Paul as I was working on Saturdays in that era. RIP Paul. Once a Rover always a Rover. 1 Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I could be wrong, but I seem to recall Andy Burgin was a regular at the Hare & Hounds at Lammack back in the day. Quote
Rogerb Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Think Andy Burgin had the dog and partridge at Barrow near Whalley Quote
