Super proud of the boys! Was expecting this to be a slippery banana. But massive victory and thoroughly well-deserved from the coaches to the players. Really impressed with Riberio and Kargbo, especially Riberio. Solid and sound in defence and went up to support the attack as well, and athletic as well. It feels like we have Beck and Pickering both in one player. Kargbo is hungry! Love to see him start a game soon.

Players are coming back, and we are on a good run now. Come on Rovers!

Just on my way home now. Man I feel 10ft tall so happy for Dolan and Forshaw.

Massive team effort again and good to see loads waiting behind at the end there to cheer them round.

Well done lads

Really? He scored and was brilliant setup by Kargbo but otherwise.......first half he was poor. The miss in the first half was poor.

Tale of two halves for sure

We really have to send the Janners back down the M5 wondering what hit them if we can.

I hope that the lads will be up for another solid performance, chasing everything down and defending resolutely. A repeat of the great showing from the Big Mak would be a wonderful thing, and it would be marvellous to see the hard yards covered by Travis and for John Buckley to grow again into his creative role.

A lot of our recent goals seem to have come from the long diagonal ball from the right, into the opposition penalty area for finishing, with either Brittain or Trav supplying the pass. No doubt Plymouth will have clocked that and may even go after those two players with cynical fouls from the outset to keep them quiet.

Nay bother! I just want this motley crew of ragbag journeymen to be the surprise package of this season, and to beat the odds in achieving something that everything tells us that the club doesn't seem to want.

On Paper (home advantage, league position) Rovers 2 Argyle 0

On Drugs (Form, Mojo, Adrenaline) Riotous Rovers 4 Jangly Janners 4

Christ On a Yellow Bike meets an upset on an apple cart (You know Rovers do this) Lost Rovers Boys 1 Plymouth Pillage People 3

All together now... COYB!!

Well, it turned out to go with the On Paper prediction. Comfortable enough game, and Plymouth didn't really have anything to hurt us with. My MOM would be Riberio, but my DAD would be Travis 😉

Beautiful win. get in.

Fucking Cov with another injury time winner. Can’t stand them. Think they’re our biggest threat at this stage. Results gone nicely otherwise!

Coventry were masters of late winners last season...Hate them with a passion.

I really like this team and I'm really enjoying this season. Huge credit to all of them this week. Four goals scored, none conceded. Six points.

I'm very pleased for Forshaw, Dolan, Sanderson, Yuri and Karbo today. We know the other players are rock solid so nice to shine a light on these lads.

A word in appreciation for Lowe. We were all a little worried when we saw the team sheet. Six out of six, very, very, well done.

I've said all year we are better than we think. I'm chuffed for all of us. Let the music play.

Didn't watch it! But so happy with the result....Did Dennis not come on again?? What's the craic there then?

He's played 60 minutes since April.  At 1 - 0 it's a gamble to bring him on.  Let him keep training and see us over the line for playoffs.  Premier inn wembley here we come

Yeah Coventry were very lucky indeed, big error from Weds keeper, who were absolutely battering them at the time,

so totally against the run of play and no time to come back.

Maybe we are paying him 15,000 to sit on the bench and 20,000 if he plays (or some sort of similar arrangement).

We’ve seen it in the past…

Most players contracts include an appearance bonus - if we are picking up a part of his wage then i assume any "individual/performance add-ons" are to be covered by us

We don't know enough to really speculate on how we are covering his wages and what we have to pay. We do know that we are paying a fraction of his actual salary, but no idea how that is structured.

Thought they were lucky against us as well, Lampard is as weak a manager as his hairline

Genuinely don't think we play like that under Eustace.
One of the better performances this season, when we often struggle to break down the lower-placed opposition at home.

I was critical of Dolan at HT, but he had a very good second half.

Ribeiro is ace.

Very good week, credit to all of them.

Agreed.

Showed a lot more intent and confidence. Lowe also made more attacking substations. Eustace would have really sat back at 1-0 and tried to protect the lead.

I haven’t seen any of the match yet - what do you think the difference is with JE’s setup and this? Feels a bit more attacking but keeping clean sheets - I am no football tactic guru so genuinely interested.

Never forgiven them for that deliberate handball at Ewood by their GK.

Me neither, that was a real bitter pill, the goalkeeper punching the ball in on 90+4 and the officials ‘missing’ it. Then the indignity of Robins and the Cov bench celebrating after clearly robbing us.

Fantastic win, what a week! Forget all the off the pitch crap, the players have shown they are well up for it.

Shame Cov got a late goal, that 5 point cushion looked pretty nice, especially with an improving goal difference.

Delighted to see Kargbo have a hand in the 2nd goal, hopefully he kicks on and proves himself quite a shrewd and astute signing.

Give Ribeiro a longer deal!

Only minor complaint is that surely we need to be giving Dennis some minutes when we're 2 nil up. 5-10 mins off the bench would do him the World of good you'd think.

Funny old game. A couple of weeks ago it was 2 wins from 7 or something...now its 3 wins from 4. Things change very quickly and I reckon there will be plenty more ups and downs before the season is out.

I suspect by the time Rovers play again there will be someone new on the touchline. Hopefully it will bring a 3rd win in a row as well.

To be honest for me I think we play pretty much identically as under Eustace. Whats is impressive is the focus and discipline has been maintained with no drop off.
