Feels a bit more attacking but keeping clean sheets - I am no football tactic guru so genuinely interested. I’m no tactical genius but feels like the handbrake is off and our attacking players have been given license to express themselves. Also both full-backs were high in the 2nd half creating overloads either side, Plymouth were so poor we were playing with 2 defenders when we had the ball. Credit to the lads for going for it though, even at 1-0. Also credit to Eustace the snake for laying some pretty solid foundations but it should be a much more exciting end to the season now he’s gone. A draw would be a big disappointment and defeat bring back the dark clouds of everything that’s wrong at the club . Cautiously hopeful Rovers 2 Plymouth 0 Excellent prediction sir

Popular Post ...
For the badge and for the fans now. I bet seeing King Kenny down there gave them a real boost. So haunting hearing us singing 'Magic Hat' and King Kenny Blue n white army. Just utter chills and admittedly I was churning up inside a bit. What a time in our history and a lovely moment to be able to hearing it ring around Ewood Park once again for old times sake. 🔵⚪️🌹

Thank you, main mission for coming up eventually accomplished, several shelved and several problems now dealt with and are now in the past but still one reasonably large one that is now becoming less stressful as I am home albeit 2 days earlier than expected. Sorry if that's too much info but I haven't spoken to anyone since I left Ossy this morning 🙄

Popular Post arbitro
As Championship games go that was probably As comfortable as it gets. We were patient when we had to be particularly in the first half as we controlled the game. It was slightly frustrating at times as I thought we played sideways and backwards a bit too often as we tried to displace the Plymouth midfield and defence. We got more on the front foot in the second half and the tempo rose which Plymouth seemed to struggle with. The first goal was always going to be important and Forshaw did extremely well to hit the target. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and say he meant it. A few chances went begging before a really well worked second goal from Dolan which took the pressure off. We comfortably saw out the game after that as Plymouth finally decided to get forward. Credit to David Lowe again and his staff as the tactics once again contributed to the win. Yuri Ribeiro was rightly named man of the match but was run close by several others notably Dolan, Travis and Hyam.
Inferi
Very happy with the win and impressed with the performance. I have slagged off Forshaw previously but he actually had a very good game today. Nice goal too.

He is regarded as a solid pro in the game and it must be pretty humiliating to be told you can go away by a club in the relegation places ... he looked to enjoy the goal! First goal in nearly 9 years for him!

Lowe said as much after the WBA game. He said Eustace had focused a lot on making us good out of possession, which we could all see. Lowe said he’d just made a few tweaks on the attacking side. I think getting the 3 AM’s closer to Gueye and leaving him less isolated has been an obvious change.

I think he's a very lucky boy that Brittain has a burst of pace - Callum had to hurry to prevent Forshaw's horrendous back pass resulting in a goal - but otherwise he was pretty decent today. His best game in a Rovers shirt for sure.
