Just realised what Forshaw was doing with his celebration after scoring.. I know his signing underwhelmed a lot of people, but in this world where the 'human resources' view of people dominates so much of the workplace, how satisfying must it be to stick it to the people who have basically told you you are washed up and no longer required, and scoffed at your next move...

Now THAT's the kind of energy and resolve and attitude that will carry our rag-bag misfit journeyman 'no-hopers' forward as a fighting, functional and effective unit. Fair play, Adam Forshaw, and welcome to THE ROVERS!.

Now, please can we play Plymouth every week from now to the end of the season!

According to the Plymouth manager, Forshaw was celebrating in front of his family who were in the stands directly behind the Plymouth bench

I cannot see any reason why the Plymouth manager would state that, if it was not the case

Whilst that may be true, he also knew he was stood five years from their bench.

Football is ridiculous at times. No goals for 9 years! Play the team you've just left and notch within the hour.

On the flipside it shouldn't take playing against your old team to lift your performance. 

I'm very pleased he did and hopefully it will continue, but his contributions prior to yesterday have been poor.

Agreed mate. The new manager will have to think, Ribeiro or Beck? Batth or Carter? Sonny and Trav are first choice in midfield, but does Buckley now come in sooner if we need to open teams up?

Try picking 4 forwards out of, Cantwell, Dolan, Kargbo, Dennis, Weimann, Gueye, and Ohashi? That’s completely discounting Hedges, ACD and Woodrow. We’ve got 10 players for 4 positions.

New manager is getting some job here…

What a selection problem to have, Beck or Ribiero. A fantastic start by Lowe and Johnson, if this form continues, do we need a managers shortlist.

Hes had a few poor games but generally I think Forshaw has been decent.

I was a bit surprised he came in for Buckley though who also has been playing well. Was bucko injured or something (know he came on for 10 at the end).

I wonder who'll get the nod next week?

He’s come at such a great time. Owens been incredible but looked absolutely knackered of late. He’s literally run himself into the ground for us and needs more rotational play. Win win

I wasn't impressed with the first half, we struggled to break a below par Plymouth side down. Things improved in the 2nd half, GOAL! Forshaw with the opener, GOAL! A well taken 2nd from Dolan. Gueye was unlucky not be on the scoresheet again. I thought Cantwell played better today, but at times he's lazy, and doesn't put a 90 minutes shift in.

Fatigue with Buckley. He's gone from not playing at all to a sudden burst of games recently. I think Forshaw was champing at the bit yesterday and they will need some rotation for the big push

Yes cos we had injury crisis. 

We tough it out and now we still in 5th. Team won 2 on the bounce 2 nil. 

Clearly alot of fans feel let down by Eustace and his comments about being a team, a family and being togetherness. Spoke to a few fans on Friday night who were angry at his departure after his words and actions since Last Friday.  They were plenty of chants "are you watching John Eustace? " and very surprised how many "David Lowe's Blue and White Army chants they were. 

Kargbo had a massive effect on the game when he came. Pace, movement and what a clever pass to Dolan to score

In fairness to him he's not had too many games with that many minutes so part of the lift could have been being allowed to settle into the game. That's his first league home game with longer than a half's worth of football. Also, the longer he's been a the club the more he will settle. I'm sure we will see more good stuff from him although he will likely mainly be used from the bench given Tronny is coming back and Buckley has been doing very decently. But it's not necessarily as simple as him raising his game against his former team

Maybe he needs some games and get used to playing.

Eustace wanted plenty of attacking options. 

We do. 

My front 4 for Swansea would be Dolan on the right, Weimann as the 10, Kargbo on the left with Gueye up front.

Important win that one, with 2 great goals.

Ribero rightly named man of the match, he's lasting games well despite his lack of gametime, you can just tell he  knows the position inside out. Someone for Beck to learn from during his short time here.

I was hoping we would reproduce some of the football in early stages of the first half once we got back underway in the second. We had looked very potent with some slick forward passing until their guy went off injured and then we just didn't get back to that and the game never really got going again. But credit to the players (and probably the coaching staff, too), the reset did them good and they went for it again when they came out. It could have been one of those where the away team decide they are going to make a go of it if we hadn't made our moves. Perhaps we were fortunate their danger man had gone off but in seemingly more relevant was that they'd only had half chances and we had always looked the better side. Good time to play them I think. Teams at the bottom don't put long runs together, especially when they are bottom of the away table

Cantwells main problem, is that he is too easy to push-off the ball.

I’d be considering Buckley in the Cantwell role once Sonny is back. I’ve slated Buckley previously but in the last few games he really seems to have got some confidence and form back. He’s spraying passes around and switching the play from left to right at ease. Cantwell was a bit better yesterday but he is still not at the level he should be.
