Watching the highlights and that 2nd goal is a thing of beauty really. Kargbo and Gueye link up has a lot of potential. The speed of the move, the clinical finish from Dolan....just brilliant.

Do Swansea still needlessly try and play out from the back? If so then Kargbo might be a good option to start with and put their defence under pressure with his pace.

I think the style that Martin had has been diluted by Williams although I have seen them concede some poor goals this season from over playing. One of the biggest factors for them was losing Matty Crimes who really made them tick. Since he left they have won once and lost three and out of the last six games only won one.

You was very frustrated at the owners/board for not giving Eustace the contract and assurances he wanted to build.

Has any of your personal frustration moved towards Eustace?

Yes I would like to see that offer Eustace a new contract months ago which many on here disagree with. I would like to see some assurances of new contracts for key players.

Yes his comments about being approach on Friday before the Wolves cup was very different comments to what he actually post game Wolves, so that pissed me off. Also he spoke about being a family, togetherness but they leaves the family just like that for a team in 21st place.

I think the Rovers fan based made the feelings towards Eustace during the game, don't you?

I apprenticed the job he did and He did well here and thanks for your John, Matt and Keith

If you watch back his interviews from Birmingham, Rovers and now Derby he sounds exactly the same saying the same things like a record on repeat.

We need someone that wants the best for us as a club even though its not easy with those fucknuggets we have. Just want someone to fight for us, someone who can be influential to those turds that will get them to do more or better still feck off

The club has done very well to manipulate the situation so now most of the anger is at Eustace and not at the real problem. Venkys.

If only those in charge of the club spent as much effort on running the club in a sensible and efficient manner (player contracts, reinvestment of transfer fees received, management succession planning etc) as it did trying to vilify a former employee

I don't think the club has at all manipulate the situation but Eustace has made some comments post match on Sunday then contradicted himself in his press conference at Derby on Thursday, Plus his own comments of being a family and all being together.

He may have told a white lie, who cares.

He left because the clubs a mess. That should be our primary concern. The owners and board still carry on and they are the issues.

I think many on here are desperate to let their anger out at anyone, the club haven't need to manipulate anything. Whether it's Eustace, Forshaw, Dolan, some people are just hoping for failure

Yes, im sure that people spend so much time and money watching Rovers because they want them to fail.

I don't think they want rovers to fail. I think they want those players to prove them right and then be dropped. I'm sure they'd accept the players coming good but they don't see it as a possibility, such is their bias, so instead they just want them out the way as soon as possible

So when those 2 players you mentioned scored yesterday, you think anyone was anything other than delighted?

Its rubbish.

One player I think deserves a mention, despite flattering to deceive, is Cantwell. I think there is a decent chance that some of his biggest impact on our fortunes has been behind the scenes with the confidence they have in trying a few different things and also just going forward from the midfield more generally. Whilst he makes mistakes he does seem to always want the ball and this optimism can be contagious for the other players, especially when he's in amongst them in training so much. I reckon his style will have rubbed off on some of them and that could be where we've seen Dolan develop some of his more positive movement.

No. I think they would have been happy in the moment, for sure. But I do think that now some of them may be thinking they hope that doesn't lead to Forshaw getting the nod for the next game. There's tens of thousands of rovers fans, to say it's rubbish that some fans will want specific players to fail in the short term so the club can move on from them in the long term is naive. That's common amongst sections of many fan bases.

Again, not wanting a player to be selected in the next match doesnt equate to wanting him to fail to prove themselves right.

And I'm saying it would do for some specific fans. Obviously not you, but if not then I'm not talking about you. It feels like you're taking this as me accusing you. Have you never heard of fans wanting the club to lose to get a manager out? It's a micro version of that because you don't have to hope for a loss, just a bad individual performance. This isn't controversial, though it's not a position I've ever found myself in personally as I'd rather players come good and always hope for that. But people often want their beliefs on people confirmed

I dont think it is aimed at me, I just dont think anyone wants anyone to fail to prove themselves right.

Take Gueye. The majority thought he wasnt up to it, but the reaction to his goal at Wednesday and what has happened since has delighted everyone.

I guarantee there will be a few who want him to fail but it's a ridiculous minority and they are likely keeping it to themselves. I just think a type of person exists that you don't believe does so we won't agree. The fact Gueye has become so popular recently has delighted me and it's a testament to the fans that they've taken to his enthusiasm. That's the case with most fan bases of course and Gueye has his unique charm, especially when it comes to crowd interaction.

Support for him certainly dipped, though. I'm only talking from irl, as I wasn't active on here at the time of his dip but plenty at my work had him down as a donkey who wasn't good enough. They saw him as a waste of a signing. Perhaps my use of the word popular was misjudged and I should have spoken of support for him.
