I agree, if they sack him, they will react on the pitch, and make it harder for Rovers. Just look at Rovers reaction, since the departure of John Eustace.

We are due a game where we don't win and away to Swansea is one I can see that happening. I don't fear them but for me it has an championship draw written all over it. 1-1. I'm not yet sure if any new faces will be available but I'm hoping Kargbo will get a start if he's ready. Also Batth would go into the team if fit, obviously.

 

A good performance and remaining in the top 6 would sweeten the mild disappointment of dropped points but then it will be a home game to follow.

They have a decent record on us at their ground, perfect time Saturday, to chalk up a win.

I rather make the right appointment and if that's after Swansea game so be it.

Dunno about that. Swansea have been on a rotten run and if they do bring someone in it's because they were fully planning to pot the previous head coach. Rovers situation a bit different in that they're in decent form again and the 2 wins on the spin gives them breathing space to bring the right person in for the job.

Swansea are in free fall and will possibly rush an appointment through because of that, in the hope that they get the new manager bounce.

Not necessarily - if they have been planning on sacking their Manager for a while, they may someone lined up.

I usually would feel a lot of trepidation about a team who have just lost their manager... But Rovers have a lot of options now. If we play on the break we have the pace to hurt teams, if we have the ball we have the players to find the right pass, if we are chucking in crosses we can get on the end of them, even our set pieces are better. And on top of that we look very defensively solid.

Pride before the fall etc, but feeling pretty confident.

Just watched extended highlights of Swansea's last two games and it is hard to detect any particular style beyond all purpose Championship level fitness, robustness and skill level. Front play is opportunistic at best so if we keep our discipline we should be able to handle them in defence.

They are not the tallest except for the two central defenders so this is a must start for Gueye. They look vulnerable on the flanks so will be very disappointed not to see Kargbo starting. They also make mistakes in their passing so the high press is called for. 

Despite Forshaw scoring and being very tidy against Plymouth, I would opt for the greater range of passing of Buckley for this one but would having Cantwell on the pitch as well risk playing two error-prone lightweights? Swansea look like they snap into the tackles.

It is the Norwich game when we can expect Carter, Tronstad and Ohashi all in contention (and Beck, Batth and Dennis?) so the selection shouldn't be too taxing for Lowe's (last?) game in charge.
