dire?

Yes. In my opinion.

Real opportunity for us against a poor side in terrible form, and with a poor home record. But being a Rovers fan, it screams home win. Weve seen it so many times.

I would have liked to go more on the front foot. Weimann has looked like his legs are going lately and Hedges is ...well Hedges. Lets hope he can double his goal tally 34 games in.

You said the same before the WBA game and it came back at you.

Maybe trust Lowe and the players here.

Hopefully it does "come back at me" again. Its a game we should be winning and hopefully we do. Sometimes surely its boring not having your own opinions rather than just blindly trusting everyone to get everything right.

I dont trust Ryan Hedges as a winger to do anything. Why would I?

You would have thought by now, you would have learnt and show some confidence that these people know what they are doing.

Why don't you formulate your own opinions?

Hedges has played circa 30 times this season. Starting 80% of them. We've been in the top six all season, but you think he's crap.

Top 6 + regular starter = crap. Mmmm ok then you know best.

I'll be glad if Hedges starts tomorrow. We've seen how poor we look with Cantwell and ACD away from home.

You didnt put any of Hedges, Weimann and Forshaw in your team. So you dont agree. So surely your natural reaction is, well I wouldnt have gone for that.

There is no point in a messageboard if we just concede our own right to an opinion if its contrary to that of the manager.

It clearly very much is my opinion. Hence why I am sticking to it even if it seems likely that the caretaker manager doesnt agree.

I wouldnt start ACD either. Id go for Kargbo.

Surely having your own opinions means having them and not just conceding because the manager at the time goes with something different. Football becomes a pretty boring game if thats the mentality you take.

I’m with you on this. I don’t know what Hedges brings to the party apart from pulling the shirt on.

If those line ups are true it’s abit of a shocker.

I don’t want to knock the players starting because no doubt they can do a job for us, but Forshaw, Hedges and Weimann aren’t starters for me. I don’t mind Hedges when it’s a tough game and we need defensive cover but against Swansea when we should be on the front foot it just doesn’t make sense to me.

Buckley deserves to be starting - one of our best players in 2025 so far. Kargbo has looked electric every time he’s been on the pitch. The first player that we’ve had in a long long time that gets me off my seat as soon as he gets the ball. He’s so direct.

Screams to me of Lowe playing it safe. Which is fine, and in many ways has worked so far, but it’s also what Mowbray did for years and years and IMO was the main reason we couldn’t make that final step and become a play off team, which we really should of done.

If Cantwell isnt been fit, then play Weimann there..

Forshaw was good on Saturday but Buckley very good before the last game.

Hedges is a quality squad player..don't understand why you are so against your own player for his own team.

Cos I can understand the tactics going to similar to the WBA under our interim head coach David Lowe and staff

I'm not a fan of Hedges, but in fairness he did his job at WBA really well.

Problem being we need to go at Swansea tomorrow - they are there for the taking.

Be brave, start Kargbo.

Quality? He really does run full backs ragged by taking them on, using his blistering pace and tricks, scoring and creating goals.

Against our own player? I want him to do well like any other player. Its the fact that he repeatedly does zilch that frustrates me.

He's not that type of player at all.

Yet JDT and Eustace picked him for most games when fit. Wonder why that is?.

Exactly. Lack of alternatives.

In those years, in terms of wingers we have only signed Sorba Thomas for half a season who wasnt very good, Sigurdsson who spent the majority of the time injured and even when fit didnt fancy it, and Cozier Duberry who again spent much of the season injured and looks very much like a player in his first season of proper football. We have now signed Kargbo who hasnt yet been deemed ready to start a league game.

If you are a winger who isnt quick, cant take people on, doesnt score any goals and seldom creates chances or assists goals. Then it doesnt leave you with much. So indeed, he isnt "that type of player" if that type of player involves offering an attacking threat.

Utter rubbish

Both permanent head coaches and interim head coaches have picked more of the time, which tells you exactly how much they valued him as a squad player. He is team player, work hard for team. He's wide player not a quick skillful winger.

Apart from hard work and discipline, I am still to see what he offers to prove that he is "quality." Offers absolutely nothing going forward.

Continious underfunding and a lack of wide players of any note coming in have given him more game time than is warranted.

He wasnt very good anyway but I think he regressed after his recurring injury last season.

I am very strongly of the view Kargbo should start but that is a tackling from the front with high press side.

Whatever the caretaker management of Swansea does, they don't have players who can reliably handle those sorts of tactics.

My concern is we are relying on them making mistakes more than us creating goals and we are not giving ourselves enough time at 0-0 or losing 1-0 to.go win it from the bench.
