Conspiracy Theory,: Swag/Pasha/Gestede told DL to pick the starting line up they specified, with an option to try and catch up on 70 mins?

Or some of the players signed on loan, certain members of the  hierarchy don't want selecting cos they are on appearance money?

Everything the players have been rightly praised for in the last two games was undone in the worst performance of the season today. Devoid of energy, low intensity, slow, insipid and lacking in fight were the main characteristics today for me. What really battles me is that last week was the first time for a while were we haven't had a midweek game so at the very least I expected some intensity in our game. We offered nothing.

Too many players looked off the pace today and coupled with the basic errors we made the result was going to be a foregone conclusion. In fact I thought if Swansea kept at it they could have hammered us. There just wasn't anything positive about today and the inconsistency from game to game is really going to cost us I believe. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but my personal play off dreams have been shattered today after seeing the ineptitude and the almost polar opposite performances to the last two games.

After the Eustace saga and two subsequent wins today really was a case of After the Lord Mayor's Show.

That Play-Off game against Burnley looking a long way off now. Another season of what could have been followed by a shit show in the summer.

The life of a Rovers fan eh?

They would paste us anyway.

I can't get over the first goal today.

It's a totally unacceptable error, one of the worst I've seen. Have we seen more individual errors and points cost by a goalkeeper in our history over the course of two seasons?

He's absolutely terrible and it's criminal as said before that we didn't push the extra 500k etc for a proper number 1.

He's had a "decent season" because Batth, Hyam and Tronstad have protected the life out of him.

You can't go into any playoff games with a keeper like this.

Toth must be f*cking useless.

Hedges should have been more physical there, Viptonik leaning into him flat

Yeh agreed. He has been awful recently.

Pears really needs good cover in front of him. Without it he is so easy to get past

I’ve just arrived after back from watching it, in the land of sheep. What an appalling afternoon!  Off the top of my head:

Pears- forget promotion with him in goals- he’s not good enough.

Dolan- struggled with the physicality against him, once again.

Hedges- needs sending on loan to Accrington or somewhere. Should never put on a Rovers shirt again.

On a positive note- Adam Forshaw seems to be improving. He played reasonably well in that first half.

They nearly all looked off it though. Without making excuses, someone mentioned the fact they’d got the bus down this morning though- was that the case? I

Surely not, if they did that's absolutely laughable, embarrassing, tinpot and completely lacking in any ambition if they travelled down on the day, surely not. 😳

Bottom line is, we can’t be starting Sanderson, Hedges, Forshaw, Weimann if we want to come top 6. I’ll add Pears too in the hope that Toth has less than the 10+ horrors that Pears does each season.

Thats 5 players alone who should be in L1 - perhaps harsh on Weimann but he’s so slow. If half your team has L1 ability and your owners don’t like to invest then you’re only heading one way.

Carter/Batth, Kargbo, Tronstad, Dennis should make that 11 a lot better - just need a manager to pick them / keep fitnes

The club doesn't want to finish in the top six so expect more of the same.

I am surprised that people seem to think that Gueye wasn't too bad. Usually, his hold up play is good but the ball just wouldn't stick with him, it kept bouncing off him and he kept losing it inviting further pressure.

His form in recent weeks of course means that compared to the likes of Hedges, who is crap week in week out, or Pears who has made a number of errors in the last month or two, he has much more credit in the bank, and he obviously didn't have much support, but I thought he was poor.

Jheez a bus from Lancashire to Swansea on match day morning. That's outrageous. Wouldn't surprise me though with this lot in charge

100%, we need Danny Batth back, between him and Hyam they've been clearing the 18-yard box.
Pear's positioning and handling is suspect.

Haha admittedly made the same connection everytime I heard his name. Watched a swans feed was incredibly bias as expected

That commentator nearly wet himself with excitement when Dolan barged over their player. He was gagging for a red card to be shown. The clown.

Lost too many Games against lower placed sides, the truth is we're not consistent enough.

Too many of our Players blow Hot and Cold for my liking..Dolan being a prime example.

Just feel we will fall short,I think many fans expect the same now.

We'll fall short because we haven't spent a penny in two years. Obviously our spending over the last decade is absolutely criminal if you look at the stats (45th out of 48 teams to play in the Championship).

The maddening thing is that even with ALL of those cuts we're still absolutely skint and in danger of having a bench full of Academy players just to fulfil fixtures next season.

Why do they still own us!?

He could have stood still and it would have stopped at his feet.

So, literally, a cardboard cutout would have been more use.

Last comment on the subject - he's the worst professional GK I've ever seen at this level.

I'm not sure - you just have to look at Ewood Park to realise they don't spend any money.

I shudder to think how much booking 25 rooms and feeding approx. 50 people costs. Think of the savings if you just send them down on the bus the day of and buy them all a Tesco meal deal.

The Venkys will be able to limp on another week without spending any money on the club. Suhail will love it.

It might explain why we were so poor away at Plymouth and Oxford too. We looked way off it in those games too. Can someone ask this at the next club-trust meeting?

Think you’re forgetting that Swedish chap we had. He made Pears look alright🤣

He was better positionally than Pears and about equal as a shot stopper. He was just as bad on crosses, but he didn't have Batth protecting him.

We also immediately got our money back for him. I don't see clubs lining up to sign Calamity Pears.
