Dolan, again for me felt like playing a man down first half. Totally useless on the wing. Outmuscled time and time again, beat to the ball consistently, touch Hurrendous. Bench him.

Usual nonsense Cantwell chat on here, he had 3/4 quality balls in the first half.

Did I just read someone slagging off Kargbo, must be watching a different game, unlucky today with final ball, but we were crying out for a quick winger in January and here he is.

Carter, Tronstad and Ohashi all back - Great News.

VI better figure out his best team quickly.

Smashing £20k a week on someone that isn’t even close to being match fit, and is now suspended, is looking like a worse and worse decision, with each passing match.

We haven't seen enough of him. If we make the playoffs do loans until end of season cover them?

We need more from Cantwell than a few decent chipped passes though, he was wasteful far too often, terrible delivery on free kicks and just dallied too much

Cantwell started poorly, like everyone else, had a great chance to slip Trav in or shoot but lost it completely...But he did grow into the game and, like you said, played some nice switches in that first half.

I thought the commentator was being ridiculous when he said the first yellow for Dennis should have been red. He's not high in the slightest. Painful one but contact was made on the top of the Norwich players foot.

Second yellow was beyond a joke. How can he be expected to not go for that ball?

Think that's harsh...We've not even seen him...I thought he looked okay when he came on. Red card hasn't helped him though but he will be useful off the bench for the remainder of the season.

We desperately needed a striker to come straight into the team and make an impact.

Dennis was not / is not that striker.

He was a last minute panic loan.

Pears 6 - Didn't have much to do throughout the game. Can't be blamed for the goal as center backs should've closed down Crnac quicker inside the box.

Ribeiro 6 - Similar abilities to Pickering; decent crosser but lacks pace. Need Beck back into the team.

Hyam 5 - Unnecessary foul on the keeper during first half. Hopefully won't serve a ban for it.

Carter 6 - First ninety minutes for a while. Will need a few games to get up to speed.

Brittain 7 - Looked lively on the right hand side, making several strides forward.

Forshaw 5 - Sloppy in his passing game. Didn't venture forward much either. Positive news that Tronstad is back.

Travis 6 - Worked hard but wasn't getting forward enough to support the attackers.

Kargbo 7 - Did well in his first start, taking on his opponent on the left and causing problems. Got a bit tired in the second for obvious reasons.

Cantwell 5 - Game didn't suit him as it was played with a fairly high intensity and he had to do a bit of chasing when out of possession. Couldn't connect or find passes to Kargbo or Gueye and was taken off for Weimann on the hour mark.

Dolan 4 - Poor game yet again. Doesn't beat his marker for pace and often finds himself making wrong decisions in final third. Can't possibly see him retaining his place once Dennis is match fit.

Gueye 7 - Worked hard, providing an outlet for the team with his ability to hold off defenders and link-up play with his teammates. Needs to be at the end of crosses inside the box more often as he drifted out wide too much.

Match summary: Not much between the sides to be fair. Norwich started well but Rovers grew into it at the end of first half and enjoyed a bit more possession in second. Dennis is a bit off pace; unnecessary foul/booking for the first challenge but still slightly unlucky to be sent off (second yellow) trying to get on the end of a cross. Game turned at that point but great response to get back on level terms at the final minute.

Central midfield aren't really supporting the attackers with runs into the box so feel that it's important that we get Beck back to provide a threat out wide on the left and offer Kargbo options when he's drifting inside.

I wouldn't say it's reasonable to pay £20k pw for an unfit impact bench player. We might as well have just kept Siggy!

Not desputing any of that but people saying he's a waste of a loan when we've not even seen him isn't exactly fair.

The fact we haven’t seen much of him is  because he isn’t fit.

He will now have to miss another game.

At time of writing he is a waste of a loan and a poor signing.

The clock is ticking.

A big thrill to get a late equaliser but ultimately only drawing sees us drop outside the play offs. There is some great character amidst adversity in this side but there are a number of question marks in terms of quality and I would think there is much more of a chance of us falling short.

Overall it was a pretty poor performance and a game lacking in quality. Our midfield felt non existent at times especially in the first half with them regularly picking the ball and turning in dangerous areas and also they had 2 big chances. Forshaw struggled and Tronstad needs to start now hes back, Travis was also very shaky and hopefully Tronstad being next to him will help him.

Dennis is an idiot and I dont get why our fans give such warm applause when a player is sent off. Some "significant investment." Hyam is also an idiot for leaving one on Gunn and any suspension would really weaken us as him and Carter are 2 good centre backs and Sanderson is massively inferior. Ribeiro is decent and Brittain again right up there with our top performers.

Gueye did a few nice things without ever looking like scoring, Dolan was shocking and needs dropping, Cantwell was more involved but in the main poor, Kargbo gives us something different with his pace but often found wanting at the end of his runs with his end product. Still, an upgrade on our other wide options for sure.

Weimann really has a knack for scoring goals. From the start hes usually anonymous but great run and header to equalise.

We were a bit too stand-off-ish for my liking today. Let them have the ball on half way as much as they liked, the few small moments we did press them we won cheap throw ins and forced them long which Carter/Hyam mopped up easily. Would’ve liked us to get at them a bit more especially being at home.

feel like a good point post match with 10 men.

neither did much to win the game and the ref wanted to be star of the show again(more on the ref later)

First Half, Norwich created the best 2 chances but neither on target. Rovers best moments came through Karbgo, his pace and skills troubled them.

Second Half, Norwich control for the first 15 mins and we struggled to get out at times. Ismael made 3 subs and we were better, then the 10 minutes before the Dennis sending off, we were the better chances.

for me, the sending off is Chrisene kicking Dennis who had to go for the ball, otherwise your head coach would be going mental at him for ducking it.

Norwich got the lead, then Rovers tried to get back the game when we should have a clear pen for the foul on Ohashi by Wright. Clear pen all day long. We finally got the goal we wanted from Weimann who is our fox in the box and good cross by Ribeiro

Ismael made positive subs who made an impact on the game.

Now on the referee performance who was bloody awful all game, favoured Norwich far too much, made the wrong decisions when he sent Dennis off, Missing the clear pen, Ohashi's foul on their player when it wasn't, etc.

Its a good point after being one nil down and with 10 men, huge credit to Ismael and the players today.

Karbgo my man of the match but Travis, Carter and Hyam good performance.

Lets go and win at Derby now which I am looking forward to and attending it

Our end of the Window loan flurry isn’t looking too good.

It was surely obvious that Dennis wouldn’t be ready to make an impact having barely kicked a ball all season.

God knows what shape Woodrow must be in if Dennis gets on ahead of him,

You mean our 'significant investment ' but we all knew that !

We have been 'Venkied' for 14 years  , unfortunately !

If I was either Brittain or Ribeiro I’d have had Pears up against a wall for the amount of hand grenades he chucked Brittain and passes to  Ribeiro in poor areas. He takes so long to make a decision and then clips a ball to them under oressure.

I didn’t understand the pressing structure. Front line far too passive and not creating cover shadows on midfield. 2nd line stood too far off, so when they tried to apply high pressure the gaps were too big and they got popped off.

Why on earth we didn’t press Duffy who we know turns like a bus is beyond me. The few times we did they shit the bed and gave it away. We should have done everything we could to get the ball in between Duffy and the right back for Kargbo to run at them

Thought Travis had his worst game of the season

Have you seen it? A 50/50 he caught Crisene on the top of his foot not his knee 🤣

Course I’ve seen it, never been a 50/50 and it’s 100% a red card he’s gone over the ball and come down on his ankle

Second I’m not convinced he’s touched him but thought he was slow to it and gave the lad a chance and ref was always going to follow up

Total nonsense about the ref. He let us off with two red cards. He was poor for both teams

Not much of a new manager bounce - but then we weren't really in an old manager slump to be lifted out of, unusual set of circumstances.

I'm willing to give this one a pass - we largely stuck with the formation/lineup from before he came in - but it will be interesting to see if/how we change in the next few games now he's seen the players in a game.
