Im really apprehensive about this one. Either we'll get the new manager bounce, be prepared to run through a brick wall, and win impressively, or having been used to a few arms round the shoulder type coaches, they wont take to him, down tools and be well beaten.

Dont think there'll be too much inbetween.

There’s a lot of conjecture in there. JDT was certainly not an ‘arms round shoulder’ manager and neither was Eustace. They were clearly very demanding coaches. As is VI by all accounts.

And if a coach didn’t offer an ‘arm round the shoulder’ from time to time they wouldn’t be doing their job correctly.

I still think this guy represents quite a difference in approach from the last three and the players will either buy into it big style or the opposite will occue.
