In your final showdown, she tells you how he’s offering her “so much more” and if you’d just propose to her, commit to her then she’d turn him down….what would you do? Just hope your next girlfriend is 'out of work ' as we can't afford to fund a messy divorce.

You missed out the part where she rescues him from a life living on a park bench, drinking cheap wine and pissing himself. Takes him in, cleans him up, gets him working, cooks every night, gives him back his self-respect. After a year he’s on course for a potentially massive bonus at work and is seen as the main man. But he treats her like shit, ignores her, never takes her out, and never gets her gifts on her birthday or Christmas. He treated his last girlfriend just the same, which is how he ended up living on the park bench in the first place. He then tells everyone it’s her fault they split up….but only the really gullible friends and family believe him.

markhayhurst
I’ve not seen any of rovers players commenting on the new manager in any form. Saying they back the decision or are pleased with it or even mention it. No pics from Rovers of meeting players or staff or first training sessions under new manager. I know it’s early days but you’d have expected a comment from say Travis or Hyem etc (on his return from injury) video silence defending

I presume the squad must have Wednesdays off? Edited February 27 by KentExile

The club has been a right mess lately, but you're just looking for something to get mad at now. I actually thought you were being sarcastic at first. I've long come to the conclusion that some on here just like shouting at the sky because well - those clouds are just fucking annoying! I accept we are a basket case but a letter, come on....

Mattyblue
Clubs at all levels have comms teams churning out this stuff, always have to an extent - think of ‘manager programme notes’ of yore that was the same collection of platitudes every week. Herbie6590
9 hours ago, Dan said: This would what it would be like if JE had written it: “Listen, yeah, it’s just amazing to be here at Blackburn Rovers, you know? And in the big 150th year as well, which is just massive for everyone. Back when I started playing football in 1994-95 with Strasbourg, I was watching from far away when this club won the Premier League, and now, you know, here I am as the boss—it’s just mad, really. But listen, football isn’t about just one person, you know? It’s about all of us, together. We’ve got 12 games left, yeah? And we can dream big, but dreams don’t just happen—you gotta work for them, you know? Run harder, fight for every ball, just keep going, no matter what. And we can’t do that alone, yeah? It’s about all of us—players, staff, fans, the whole club, all pushing the same way. That’s how we make things happen. And you lot, yeah—you’re so important, you don’t even know. Your voices, your belief, your energy—it lifts the lads, makes them dig deeper, you know? That’s what makes the difference. We’re in this together, every single one of us, and that’s how we’ll get to where we wanna be. I can’t wait to see you all on Saturday, you know, to feel the energy at Ewood for the first time as the boss. It’s gonna be special, yeah? So let’s all stick together, push each other, and see where this journey takes us. Let’s go for it!” So, listen, or could be worse, you know? 😂 Disappointing lack of “bostin’” otherwise excellent 😁

Sadly, I have seen all this before and although, I will gladly apologise if I’m wrong, he is just another in a string of propaganda stunts, saying what his paymasters want him to say, to pull the wool over the fans eyes, yet again. I haven’t forgotten the Tony Mowbray “This is Blackburn Rovers” to “ It isn’t 1995 any more”, or the Owen Coyle “ I have never heard of Kentaro” or the JE “ We are all in this together” whilst looking to move on at every opportunity. The only manager who seemed to give the overlords a bit of stick back and genuinely tell the fans about the tricks the club were up to, was JDT and they made sure he was whisked out of the door, the minute he called them out. “You will have to ask Steve and Pasha”. “I will go and pick him up myself, in our new bus”. They all do it and it sickens me that these people come in, spout the spiel and then shit on the fans, at the first opportunity. I sincerely hope I’m looking foolish, come the end of the season, or even at the end of next season, but this just feels like another rinse and repeat episode. I 100% understand your apprehension.

Man: No, I haven’t, this is my first time. Receptionist: I see. Well, do you want to have just one argument, or were you thinking of taking a course? Man: Well, what is the cost? Receptionist: Well, It’s one pound for a five minute argument, but only eight pounds for a course of ten. Man: Well, I think it would be best if I perhaps started off with just the one and then see how it goes. Receptionist: Fine. Well, I’ll see who’s free at the moment.
