What were they thinking giving him a 3 and a half year deal? 

It was always going to be difficult for him if he didn't hit the ground running. Now he's hit the ground face first it could get very uncomfortable for him very quickly.

I'm still hoping he can turn it around somewhat because as we all know it's very frustrating in the past watching us refuse to sack a manager (Coyle, Kean the most egregious examples).

Any change in shape should've happened in the summer when he had time to implement it properly. He's got to revert back to what's worked for the side this season and scrape a few wins for respectability. Because if we continue in our current form he won't be getting the benefit of the doubt. These fixtures are on paper the easiest we will have until the end of the season.

He's cheap and will do as he's told.

Probably him that demanded that length and the club accepted as the next choice would have been even shitter and probably would have brought a lot of scrutiny and attention towards them.

It's also possible the club negotiated a cheap break clause in the contract which allows them to terminate without any major financial penalty at a certain point.

This would suggest a degree of competence which seems unlikely based on past history, but nonetheless.

There’s genuinely nothing.

The players look lost and like they’ve met on the car park before the match.

A disaster, as predicted. A good DOF hires a manager that fits the players available. Ours hired one that only knows how to play 3-4-3.

Looks like Ismael is where Waggott and Suhail's luck runs out when it comes to bringing in unemployed cheap managers expected to keep the titanic afloat. And believe me, it's been nothing but a ridiculous streak of luck for the pair of them.

Its not just the managers fault.

Yes he's useless, but who's employed him?

Then we start next season poorly, in the bottom 3 and even then they'll wait until Feb so the next manager cannot spend any money in the Jan transfer window.
