You can normally tell what a manager is trying to do, but his "style" is just bizarre, I could list what his team isn't doing all day, but I could not tell you what he is trying to implement to save my life

he isn't passing out from the back

he isn't playing possession football

he isn't playing direct

he isn't playing on the counter attack

he isn't using the wings

he isn't trying to play through the middle

It defies any logic

Perfectly put. I think he is hoping to still be in the game with 10 mins to play and luckily get a chance to score, same as Stoke away recently.

We have nothing to lose so why not just have a go in games! Protests aside I don’t think I could watch a season of what I’ve watched so far under him!

If you supported a normal club but they happened to make a terrible managerial appointment, you’d be fuming with the owner/board, but you’d know that sooner rather than later he’d be out the door, hopefully before they could do too much damage.

Here, it’s the helplessness of knowing 2028, probably does mean 2028 as he oversees our League 2 campaign…

A spectacularly bad beginning - contextually must be one of the worst in recent history across all divisions, factoring in our position when he arrived and the results since. It's not like he was parachuted into a team in the relegation zone. We were 5th and had won two of the last three matches before he arrived, lol.

It was a matter of time until Waggott & Suhail's luck ran out when it came to appointing managers. They had a ridiculously fortunate streak with TM/JDT/Eustace, but that luck has well and truly run out now.

Arrogant twat too.

1,000+ travel down to Portsmouth and straight down the tunnel.

Take it Swaghail will be having a word Monday? (Ha!)

Rudderless organisation with no standards or will to win. Would be unacceptable at any other professional football club.

Was probably rushing down there to get a letter drafted and printed out for everyone to take home with them. Allez Les Bleus.

Impossible to like this guy. Seems like an unlikeable human who plays horrendous football.

his demenour on the touchline is disturbing.hands in pockets looking completely disinterested,he makes mowbray look animated, must be sending  terrible vibes to his players if he`s like that in the dressing room and on the training field

The club couldn't have ballsed this up and worse if they tried.

Hilarious really.

Unfortunately, it's what most of us fully expected.

Fancy changing the topic to Ismael Out?

Season is done. Let's get it all nice and toxic.

He's doing a fine job of making the real culprits look like absolute idiots. Arguably better for it to be like this than middling results which sees us miss out by a few points, giving people false hope that next season could be decent.

It's not going to get any better for us either, the teams he's had to play so far have been some of the worst the league.

Insipid, uninspiring dross and is 100% a reflection of him as a manager.

I don't want him out, just replacing him is only papering over the real cracks at the club, let the shit show go on and let the real pressure ramp up on Waggot and Pasha and the numpty owners to get out of our club.

Exactly, this bloke is completely irrelevant.

Attention needs to be on the owners and their lap dog Suhail.

Mowbray had his faults, no doubts there. JDT could have been the one had he been backed and Eustace was an appointment that just suited the squad down to the ground.

They were always due a total duffer again sooner rather than later after 3 good (or good enough at least) appointments.

Remaining fixtures:

Boro (H)

Sheff Wed (H)

Luton (A)

Millwall (H)

Sunderland (A)

Watford (H)

Sheff Utd (A)

Can anyone see a win in there?

Might get a lucky win against Sheff Wed or Milwall at home but it's highly unlikely.

Did we not go down on 53 points last time? Maybe we're not out of the woods just yet 😬

Two good appointments.

51, which was (and remains) a very high total to be relegated with. 53 points will almost certainly be enough, but we could nonetheless end up in a pretty pathetic position come the end of the season if things continue as they are.

Imagine if we lost all of our remaining matches, lol. Would surely be a contender for the worst start to a managerial reign ever.

In a perverse kind of way, the benefit of such a terrible appointment (which seemed obvious at the time) is that it’s put pressure on the powers that be, and got any supporter with a brain cell, up in anger against them.
