Nooooo….think of it like this!

Youve been in a relationship with your new squeeze for a year. You think she’s amazing but recently, she’s had a wondering eye, you’ve seen her flashing other fellas the eye in Preston, Hull and Plymouth and decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, and then your worst fears come to light when you find out she’s met a guy from Derby. In your final showdown, she tells you how he’s offering her “so much more” and if you’d just propose to her, commit to her then she’d turn him down….what would you do?

Just hope your next girlfriend is 'out of work ' as we can't afford to fund a messy divorce.

You missed out the part where she rescues him from a life living on a park bench, drinking cheap wine and pissing himself. Takes him in, cleans him up, gets him working, cooks every night, gives him back his self-respect. After a year he’s on course for a potentially massive bonus at work and is seen as the main man. But he treats her like shit, ignores her, never takes her out, and never gets her gifts on her birthday or Christmas. He treated his last girlfriend just the same, which is how he ended up living on the park bench in the first place.

He then tells everyone it’s her fault they split up….but only the really gullible friends and family believe him.

Let:

S = Supporting Rovers (a positive value)

V = Venky’s ownership (a negative value)

N = Negativity

Equation:

S + V = N

Since S (supporting Rovers) is positive and V (Venky’s ownership) is negative, the negativity N arises when the negative impact of V outweighs the joy of S, leading to:

|V| > S \-> N > 0

Thus, the equation shows that while supporting Rovers is positive, the negativity stems from the influence of Venky’s ownership.

Frame it, then hang it in The Tate, 💙.

I’ve not seen any of rovers players commenting on the new manager in any form. Saying they back the decision or are pleased with it or even mention it.
No pics from Rovers of meeting players or staff or first training sessions under new manager.

I know it’s early days but you’d have expected a comment from say Travis or Hyem etc (on his return from injury) video

For whatever reason, Ismael only meets the squad today, according to the Rovers site

Ismael’s work begins now, with the Frenchman set to meet his new squad - which includes familiar faces in the form of Callum Brittain, Cauley Woodrow and Emmanuel Dennis - on Thursday.

I presume the squad must have Wednesdays off?

What a bizarre reaction to a pretty standard letter saying he's happy to be here, respects our history and wants us to be committed and resilient going forward.

The club has been a right mess lately, but you're just looking for something to get mad at now. I actually thought you were being sarcastic at first.

I've long come to the conclusion that some on here just like shouting at the sky because well - those clouds are just fucking annoying!

I accept we are a basket case but a letter, come on....

They'll probably release a video soon is my guess.

Depends on how you see it really.

Whingeing about something or whingeing about whingeing, they're both still whingeing tbh.

Stop the unnecessary whingeing at the source and it will stop the follow up whingeing. Stop the secondary whingeing and you'll still have the first whingeing

I suppose it is a good job that we don't all see things the same way, as it would make this site a touch tedious.

Regardless of the whingeing, everyone's entitled to their own opinions, let's just see what happens and hope he sees the strengths that we have that should be regular starters and bag this play off spot. I hope it's a loud one Saturday we're on the final run in now. Regardless of the asshats that run the show we want us in the playoffs and competing and hard as we can now. Go big or go home!

COYBs

and come on Saturday...

But then, we've (the mods/site admin) been accused of bias, silencing certain viewpoints and allowing other viewpoints more than we should have already, so I think people still have a right to their view, to be fair.

Either way, for what its worth, I find labelling views as being 'happy clappers' or 'negative' absolutely tedious in reality.

He could have least write a poem! Laziness.

If he has written it, I kinda like it. It’s probably not any worse than JE’s togetherness and saying ‘Listen’ at the start of every sentence.

It is slightly Ted Lasso though. 😂

My name is Ismael and I’m your head coach,

But please don’t worry, I know Steve is a cockroach,

I wrote a poem because I know a letter would cause some scoffs,

Arte et Labore and we’ll get the play offs!

Did you see the 'carefully orchestrated media output / fluff' from the club when Eustace was negotiating with Derby?

No, but the "message from Ismael" is absolutely harmless, and standard stuff under the circumstances.

That's what was causing the furore last night.

This would what it would be like if JE had written it:

“Listen, yeah, it’s just amazing to be here at Blackburn Rovers, you know? And in the big 150th year as well, which is just massive for everyone. Back when I started playing football in 1994-95 with Strasbourg, I was watching from far away when this club won the Premier League, and now, you know, here I am as the boss—it’s just mad, really.

But listen, football isn’t about just one person, you know? It’s about all of us, together. We’ve got 12 games left, yeah? And we can dream big, but dreams don’t just happen—you gotta work for them, you know? Run harder, fight for every ball, just keep going, no matter what. And we can’t do that alone, yeah? It’s about all of us—players, staff, fans, the whole club, all pushing the same way. That’s how we make things happen.

And you lot, yeah—you’re so important, you don’t even know. Your voices, your belief, your energy—it lifts the lads, makes them dig deeper, you know? That’s what makes the difference. We’re in this together, every single one of us, and that’s how we’ll get to where we wanna be.

I can’t wait to see you all on Saturday, you know, to feel the energy at Ewood for the first time as the boss. It’s gonna be special, yeah? So let’s all stick together, push each other, and see where this journey takes us. Let’s go for it!”

So, listen, or could be worse, you know? 😂

Disappointing lack of “bostin’” otherwise excellent 😁

That's people having opinions of opinions and not constructive conversations. It's like just outright disagreeing without exploring people's comments for actual viewpoints.

Come on folks we all want the best it's become a whingefest on here

Well I suppose time will tell, but it’s Weasle words if he starts applying for the next available job and offers to resign in the summer.

Sadly, I have seen all this before and although, I will gladly apologise if I’m wrong, he is just another in a string of propaganda stunts, saying what his paymasters want him to say, to pull the wool over the fans eyes, yet again.

I haven’t forgotten the Tony Mowbray “This is Blackburn Rovers” to “ It isn’t 1995 any more”, or the Owen Coyle “ I have never heard of Kentaro” or the JE “ We are all in this together” whilst looking to move on at every opportunity. The only manager who seemed to give the overlords a bit of stick back and genuinely tell the fans about the tricks the club were up to, was JDT and they made sure he was whisked out of the door, the minute he called them out. “You will have to ask Steve and Pasha”.  “I will go and pick him up myself, in our new bus”.

They all do it and it sickens me that these people come in, spout the spiel and then shit on the fans, at the first opportunity.

I sincerely hope I’m looking foolish, come the end of the season, or even at the end of next season, but this just feels like another rinse and repeat episode.

I 100% understand your apprehension.

Man: Ah. I’d like to have an argument, please.

Receptionist: Certainly sir. Have you been here before?

Man: No, I haven’t, this is my first time.

Receptionist: I see. Well, do you want to have just one argument, or were you thinking of taking a course?

Man: Well, what is the cost?

Receptionist: Well, It’s one pound for a five minute argument, but only eight pounds for a course of ten.

Man: Well, I think it would be best if I perhaps started off with just the one and then see how it goes.

Receptionist: Fine. Well, I’ll see who’s free at the moment.

(Pause)

Receptionist: Mr. DeBakey’s free, but he’s a little bit conciliatory. Ahh

yes, Try Mr. Barnard; room 12.

Man: Thank you.

(Walks down the hall. Opens door.)

...

Man: Ah, Is this the right room for an argument?

Mr Vibrating: I told you once.

Man: No you haven’t.

Mr Vibrating: Yes I have.

Man: When?

Mr Vibrating: Just now.

Man: No you didn’t.

Mr Vibrating: Yes I did.

Man: You didn’t

Mr Vibrating: I did!

Man: You didn’t!

Mr Vibrating: I’m telling you I did!

Man: You did not!!

Mr Vibrating: Oh, I’m sorry, just one moment. Is this a five minute argument or the full half hour?

Man: Oh, just the five minutes.

Mr Vibrating: Ah, thank you. Anyway, I did.

Man: You most certainly did not.

Mr Vibrating: Look, let’s get this thing clear; I quite definitely told you.

Man: No you did not.

Mr Vibrating: Yes I did.

Man: No you didn’t.

Mr Vibrating: Yes I did.

Man: No you didn’t.

Mr Vibrating: Yes I did.

Man: No you didn’t.

Mr Vibrating: Yes I did.

Man: You didn’t.

Mr Vibrating: Did.

Man: Oh look, this isn’t an argument.

Mr Vibrating: Yes it is.

Man: No it isn’t. It’s just contradiction.

Mr Vibrating: No it isn’t.

Man: It is!

Mr Vibrating: It is not.

Man: Look, you just contradicted me.

Mr Vibrating: I did not.

Man: Oh you did!!

Mr Vibrating: No, no, no.

Man: You did just then.

Mr Vibrating: Nonsense!

Man: Oh, this is futile!

Mr Vibrating: No it isn’t.

Man: I came here for a good argument.

Mr Vibrating: No you didn’t; no, you came here for an argument.

Man: An argument isn’t just contradiction.

Mr Vibrating: It can be.

Man: No it can’t. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.

Mr Vibrating: No it isn’t.

My worry is that the Swasea game.was.their comment.  I'm sure they would have heard whispers perhaps it affected them.  Wonder what Brittain had to share with them.

Ismael...next time we play the Dingles we're going to rip their fookin Heads off.

If he does this at Turf Bore with the Rovers flag, ala Souness at Fenerbache, he can have the job for life and I'll pay the f***ing fine myself. P.S Watch the video, it has Souness and Keith Andrews on there for a Rovers connection.
