Let me be the first to say it.......

He looks better in that training kit than Eustace did! The inverted chevron was doing nothing for JE's body shape.

And......the badge and the Macron logo look decently aligned.

Write this down as an early win in my book! 🤣

Do we think it's managing the famous Blackburn Rovers, or touching Harry Pickering's hand, that is giving Valerien a stonking erection in that first picture?

Nooooo….think of it like this!

Youve been in a relationship with your new squeeze for a year. You think she’s amazing but recently, she’s had a wondering eye, you’ve seen her flashing other fellas the eye in Preston, Hull and Plymouth and decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, and then your worst fears come to light when you find out she’s met a guy from Derby. In your final showdown, she tells you how he’s offering her “so much more” and if you’d just propose to her, commit to her then she’d turn him down….what would you do?

Yeah but in the above hypothetical, you gave her written permission to "flash the eyes" at other fellas and you've been giving her 50p p.w. allowance for herself and to run the house with so you sort of lose the right to complain about it.

When she threatens to leave for another fella it all depends what you think of her. If you think she's "a keeper" then you do your level best to keep her.

The next one might be far worse!

You've also been slapping her about a bit and failing to live up to anything you promise her. You said you'd use your postcode lottery win to take her to Spain, but you took her to Bognor Regis instead and you've spent most of the rest on drink and cocaine with your fat mate Barry Rao.

Missed the letter "yesterday". It obviously wasnt written by him, Id imagine he gave someone at the Club one or two ideas and they fleshed it out.

Overall I think it's a nice idea IF it came from him originally. At the same time I dont think its anything to be overly impressed by and I treat it with a lorry load of salt, it's just a slight departure on the usual "I used to support the Club when I was growing up as a kid" nonsense that you often get when a player switches Clubs.

Not really worth getting worked up about either way. I was a lot more impressed by his comment today about how other teams are wanting to take our spot and we need to make sure we keep it!

Ultimately Ill judge him primarily on results on the pitch. Not whether he looks like a former member of a boy band and flashes a disarming grin after getting stuffed or says "you know" too much in interview.

I can't say I care about any letters being written by the manager. I don't care if it was written for him or not (although some of the lines were verbatim from his introduction interview video, so we would have to assume that was written for him as well). It's fine for fans who want to get emotionally attached to a manager but I'm long past that point. For the most part all I care about is performances and results on the pitch. The media stuff is just fluff.

It's nice that he's got long-term ambitions for what he wants to do at the club, but so did JDT and Eustace, and look what happened there. Without the support of the owners it's irrelevant, unfortunately. For now all that he or the fans can focus on is the rest of the games we have this season. Anything after that is at the whim of owners who have consistently shown they could not care less about the long-term future of the club beyond keeping the lights on and losing as little money as possible.

Let:

S = Supporting Rovers (a positive value)

V = Venky’s ownership (a negative value)

N = Negativity

Equation:

S + V = N

Since S (supporting Rovers) is positive and V (Venky’s ownership) is negative, the negativity N arises when the negative impact of V outweighs the joy of S, leading to:

|V| > S \-> N > 0

Thus, the equation shows that while supporting Rovers is positive, the negativity stems from the influence of Venky’s ownership.

Simply put:

15N/SV = 0
