Two good appointments.

I'm more inclined to agree with you there (assuming you're talking about Mowbray), he certainly outstayed his welcome here and had some weird allergy to the playoff places but he certainly has his support amongst Rovers fans.

51, which was (and remains) a very high total to be relegated with. 53 points will almost certainly be enough, but we could nonetheless end up in a pretty pathetic position come the end of the season if things continue as they are.

Imagine if we lost all of our remaining matches, lol. Would surely be a contender for the worst start to a managerial reign ever.

Ah, my bad.

You'd like to think he has at least 1 win in his locker between now and the end of the season but as always when you're on a horrific run of form, you just can't see where the next win comes from.

Right now, I'd say we might scab a couple of draws and lose the rest.

The new Jin Iley. The difference is the board released their mistake and got rid. At any other club tge directors would be meeting with coaching staff first thing Monday morning to find out what they think is wrong. Later on they’d be having the senior players in and asking them for their version. Will that happen at Rovers this Monday morning ? We all know the answer to that one.

But the board don't see it as anything going wrong, so no action will be taken.

Terrible demeanour and looks like he switches off at points during matches….just sits there and looks fed up.

Must be up there with one of the worst starts to a managerial reign, had some decent fixtures too.

Maybe needs another international break to give him extra time to get his “ideas” across to the players (with a lot of them out of contract in the summer, I’m sure their care factor will be high…)

To sum up how bad an appointment this is…to now get rid of him would either cost our entire summer transfer budget or (more likely and even worse) we have to sell a player to pay his compensation.

Well done Gestede, I’m fairly sure this was your appointment.

I agree, it was Gestede who strongly influenced this.

Its done now and even though people are still saying it’s early days, it’s a disaster this now and the longer he remains, the worse this will get.

Considering some of the guff we've signed this season, I'd argue Gestede should be packing his bags too. Yet another example of why you don't hire amateurs at this level of football.

I am now at the point of wondering, if this appointment was on the basis of, let’s see if we can piss the fans even more. Snowball revenge at its best.

Find an out of work manager, with the most abysmal record we can in his most recent roles, give him as long a contract as we can and if he can speak French, even better.

Get him to write a letter to the fans introducing himself, then really shove it up them, by playing shit football, win no games, but keep him in situ, for as long as we can.

That will show them.

As a bonus, set the season ticket prices at at level that brings in just enough revenue to pay his compensation, when even we have to sack him, for his record, which will be the worst in the clubs history, by the time he is done.

So after 200 applications we get his joker! I’d love to know who else was on that list!

Probably 199 Burnley fans!

His body language on the touchline is awful.

Bad Owner and a Bad Manager = disasterous.

Le Coyle is manna from heaven for the burgeoning protest movement. He looks uninterested and uninspired, just like the Owners. He also reflects really badly on the people at the club who appointed him.

Incompetence at every turn.

There is the cynic in me , that thinks Ismael has been appointed to do what Eustace failed to do .

That being achieving relegation !

Kean , Coyle and now this fella , all 3 were strange  appointments , ultimately designed to get us relegated .

Ismael , will not be here this time next season but the damage will have been done .

Kean nearly got us relegated from being in the top ten in the Premier league within 6 months .

The only sense that can possibly be applied to his appointment is to assume Gestede stamped his feet for this one.
