Result last night ends any discussion about him being potted by the stooges this season.

Players played well in the second half, credit where it is due.

Luton are appalling but our recent record against teams in the bottom six is worse. Will be interesting to see if we turn up on Saturday.

Did I read this right? You think we are going to invest what’s needed to progress this summer? What part of the previous 15 years has made you think that? I know you don’t know how much money precisely as none of us do, I’m asking you what your opinion is? A ball park figure? I’d suggest if we need 9 new championship players we would need to invest a minimum of £15 million. I would be personally be astounded if we do that but maybe you know better than me.

Its all about who we target and I haven't thought who I would target or we should target.

I think we will look at the French, German and Belgium markets for a few signings.

The result and him getting minutes into an academy player also. Puts him right on track for the aims for next season.

Same as JDT's remit: "To stay up and develop young players"

French, German and Belgian leagues where anyone in our price range would require an ESC?

Won't be picking many up from there I don't think.

I think he's going to massively struggle with the first part of that remit.

the Belgian league is becoming very well known as a feeder league to the premier. Recent stats showed it being secondly only to the PL in physical distances, duels, etc so makes it a perfect hunting ground for athletic players who can deal with the number of games in championship. Due to this there is a premium being added to JPL players, Anderlecht brought in over 20 million euros from 4 sales, Genk did just shy of 100 million this summer, Antwerp 60 mill, Gent 50 mill. I'm sorry but we're picking from the lower end of the JPL and for that you get Gueye, who whilst has improved from the start of the season isn't what you'd call a prolific.

Couldn't make it last night, did Ismael stay on the pitch at the final whistle, or did he storm down the tunnel as per usual? Any acknowledgement toward the fans at all?

I hope you understand by "markets" that will mean French, German and Belgian lower leagues. We won't be shopping at M&S we'll be shopping the reduced to clear at Farmfoods.

Telalovic level rubbish.

Went down the tunnel to a chorus of boos from Blackburn End.

When he was shown a yellow the BBE chanted "send him off"..

We'll do extremely well to get the right targets with our low transfer budget. I don't see it happening myself with the clowns that run the circus.

It wouldn't surprise me if they backed him tbh

I actually wrote that taking the piss but then thought it actually wouldn't

It’s a performative gesture to say to the outside world (& the players) that this guy is gonna be around for a while so you’d better get used to it.

The players have then said…”Really? OK…”

Sooo true!

Not bothered what Nixon has to say , still upset we bought Yakubu lol,

The club does have a break clause with the manager which can be exercised at the end of the season.

Back to my holiday

You're missing some decent weather back here.

I would prefer a reliable source before I get my hopes up.

But to exercise it he's likely to have to overrule Gestede and Suhail.....

Our various hired goons of the Venkys era have never seen eye to eye, have they?

In no way Glen's fault, but Waggott showing his classlessness by discussing Ismael's contract with someone from outside the club hierachy.

To put some context, I challenged him on a 3 and half year deal for a man whose had 10 clubs in 10 seasons . Stating given we are potless do we put up with him if he's rubbish or then spunk our non existent funds to remove him?

I can't and won't sit there nodding and agreeing with the club to garner some perk.

It's critically important that supporters are not left in the dark. It's everyone's club, and the real questions with the real answers is the least supporters expect.

As I said the first day I met him , "I don't want your laced biscuits or a selfie, and you can stick your balloons too. You're on borrowed time to get your ship in order or I will start a movement, which be like no other.

18 months have passed and I always keep my promises.

As I said Glen, in no way your fault, and I appreciate everything you are doing.

However, my point about Waggott stands.
