As others have said, the stick is being aimed in the wrong place.

The narrative in the main would suggest hes just a one off greedy traitor.

Traitor? Hes not sold nuclear secrets to China, or told Putin where we build our submarines. Hes not moved to Burnley or PNE, or even a competitor for the play offs.

Hes just a guy offered a better financial package to work elsewhere. If he had said that instead of bullshitting about projects and visions and home then few would have begrudged him his move.

Ignore him with pleasure. Laugh at their results. It's neither here nor there. We could have been more proactive, he could have been more open. When money is involved people will always protect their own interests.

From his social media post tonight stating he is getting surgery to be fit for pre season says he won't be here next season. The joys of short term contracts is players need to look after themselves.

I hope it is not only John Eustace who gets some verbal abuse tomorrow, the real enemy is within our ranks, S. Waggott and S. Pasha they manipulated this whole fiasco!

I hope we win.

JE gets a good cheer and some friendly banter

And there is a lot of abuse thrown at those mentioned

To be fair, they all do that these days.

I don't think it's all about a few more quid.

Like his predecessor, he clearly felt let down by the hierarchy.

I've seen it said on social media that he took the easy option to move to Derby.

I think that's a very odd take on it, and the exact opposite is actually true.

I'm glad I won't be there today to witness our brain dead contingent goading him.

Is that the same brain dead contingent, who have been getting plaudits all season for fantastic away followings ?

This has all the makings of a 1 nil loss.  I think they'll sit in compact and we won't be organised enough to break it down before they nick one.  I distinctly remember they started the season with a few good headers of the ball.  82nd minute conceding at a lofted free kick.

Fairly indifferent to Eustace going, definitely not buying in to the snake narrative - find that quite confusing

Definitely going for it with the attacking team he's putting out 💙🤍

Yuki must have impressed in training he's starting with Kargbo and Dolan too, Gueye up top.

Tronstad back is the best news in ages though.

No complaints from me if it’s Travis, Tronstad, Kargbo, Ohashi, Dolan, Gueye as the midfield and attack.

We don't actually know he has been offered a substantively better financial package at Derby, but even if he has, very few managers if any have moved for money and then come out and said 'I'm just here for the dosh'. It doesn't play well to his new constituents, and it's not reasonable to expect him to say that to placate us.

Besides, I consider it fairly obvious the real reason he has left is because we pissed him about and didn't support him to a reasonable degree.

I have few hard feelings to Eustace but I really want to win this one. There will be a lot of memes afterwards if there’s a winner, and I hope we aren’t on the wrong end of them.

Also want to win because if we don’t I think that’s our season’s aspirations over.

Have a good day out away fans. Please don’t sing “Eustace what’s the score?” unless we’re out of sight 🤣

COYB!!! 🔵🌹
