Certainly seems that way. We need to be picking up 6 points from this and Cardiff (H) though.

Tomorrow is going to be a very spikey/cagey atmosphere I reckon for the home team, tonight's results will have them very nervous and if we can score first and frustrate them the fans might turn on them.

Not sure where I got that from, Sam Gallagher to score from 30 yards straight through Pears' hands after 6 minutes 👌

Yep. Anything less and it’s a bottle job.

If we don’t win tomorrow night, it is season over. Stoke desperate as well but like Swansea and Derby, I expect only one outcome. I just hope and pray that I am wrong on this occasion !

Coventry have two tough games coming back to back so hopefully that can knock the wind out their sails following tonight's loss.

Bristol and Boro both have a tricky run of games til season ends ... tough to call but we need to start paving our own path now

I dunno...

Stoke are getting sucked into the battle and will definitely be up for a win

We are so generous too

Luton and Derby winning means stoke need to pull away fast..

What's our motivation? We know play offs aren't realistic...

Eustace did us a big favour last night but put Stoke right back in the relegation mix.

It is back in our own hands again to chase a play off place.

Over to big bad Val...

3 of their last 5 at home have finished 0-0, but Pears seems to be in one of his mad confidence crashes and the defence without Batth fills me with zero confidence in a clean sheet.

The fans are going into a game against a team near the foot of the table with huge doubts in the teams ability to carve out a win, the players are coming across like they are doubting themselves too. Another loss here and we may as well pot VI now. Still pissed off about Saturday, it's going to take something special tonight to win me round.

Anyone expecting a reaction from this lot are going to be really disappointed.

We have a losing mentality, 10 defeats in the last 17 games tells you everything you need to know.

Pretty much given up the lot of them.

Easiest points Stoke will get all season, but the bad news for them is that we still have to go to Pompey and Luton, plus Cardiff at Ewood on Saturday.

well I think we will actually get a reaction from the players today and I think we will beat Stoke and put in a positive performance.

People wrote this set of players off against WBA and it came back to bite them on the backside.

Hold on a minute... you're taking the super optimistic route?!

I'm very shocked, not like you mate!

No I'm taking the route of backing Ismael and the players.

Backing the players and manager doesnt mean thinking that we will win every game.

That West Brom win was ultimately amidst an overall 3 month run of pretty dismal results as we as ever drop off like a stone.

Not a cat in hells chance we are winning this. We are a soft touch that wilt under the most minor of pressure. A win puts us back within touching distance of the playoffs, which almost certainly means a turgid performance and a loss.

Our form won't pick up again until we're totally out of the playoff race (we are anyway) and any pressure has lifted.

Then it's off on their summer jollies and back for pre-season with the usual talk of "putting things right this season, with a fresh start under the new gaffer", ad nauseam.

I back the players every game, but I can still go to those around me and go ‘not too confident today’… doesn’t make me any less of a fan, you know!

Possibly the baddest beat you’ll see though to be fair.

Viktor Johansson absolutely unplayable on the night and made 5+ insane saves. Also Pape somehow managed to miss a point blank header from about 2 yards out.

Let’s see what happens. I honestly can’t predict it.

They are realistic if they pull their fingers out. This is a great opportunity.

Unfortunately I fear the players share your mindset.

We should have been all over Johansson when he was available

Given that many of them won’t be here next season, they probably do.
