The way I see it now as every penny I give the club is just giving the Venkys more of a reason to stick around and/or not invest anything. The squad will be grim next season after more contracts end and we accept bids for anyone still worth anything (Travis, Brittain etc.)

I have decided not to renew. Fed up of a lack of ambition. Free transfers, and loans. Then Sky moving nearly every fixture. To many night games...So I shall not bother.

I just hope that Ismael and the club are in line with transfer policy, whatever it is, and if indeed there is one. We surely can't have another "who picks the players to sign" situation.

If it's Gestede or if it's Ismael then so be it, as long as Ismael is happy with the situation. The half arsed disaster of Eustace and Tomasson is no good to anyone.

what makes you think the ismael reign is going to be any different,he`s not going to be bestowed with transfer cash and the only transfer policy is there is`nt one🙂

On your first statement, I would say make a judgement on what is happening now, and don't be guided by what has happened in the past.

There will be transfers, of that there is no doubt. In what form God knows, but we will get players.

It's more the question of who picks them which needs confirmation.

i think there will a shedfull of loans,a few free transfers and the u2`1s will fill out the rest of the squad,of more importance are the contracts of our key players,which don`t appear to be of importance😥which is ******** madness and the best way to relegate a football club

Venkys have a history of relegation us, nearly did it within their first six months in situ.. 

It was obvious, what was going to happen the season after and it did, we went down with barely a whimper! 

Not a lot as changed in 14 years.

i don`t think it was,venkys bought rovers as a toy for their spoilt brat sons,then the club was hijacked by that bent **** anderson,who must have made a fortune out of us,the two brats have now lost interest and we are drifting like the mary celeste

incidentally if we do go down next season,we won`t be coming back this time

Everything is always someone or something else's fault with this lot despite things being constantly shit the whole time.

There's never ever been one single attempt to rectify any 'mistakes' that have been made, they just gaslight and vilify anyone who points these things out and holds them to account, meanwhile they just carry on doing the same thing over and over.

Funny how the second they showed up they were talking about reducing the wage bill and cutting costs whilst the club simultaneously started losing tens of millions every season. The losses have only been curbed since their own government started to investigate them for fraud.

Still, nothing to see here. They're just badly advised etc..

Fat baz wanting to buy a sports team to stroke his ego.

The others see the potential benefits of having a business overseas that has a high cash turnover and is expected to lose millions so they can do whatever it is they've been doing for 15 years that has got them in hot water with their government.

Involvement with Kentaro and the spivs, people embroiled in other massive financial scams in the world cup football.

Relegated the club deliberately to get them out of the spotlight so they were free to do whatever it is they've been doing without the scrutiny.

They're too ignorant, stupid and arrogant to actually competently pull off whatever they've been up to and have been caught out.

Combination of lack of interest, ignorance, stupidity, arrogance and fear of unearthing skeletons sees them refusing to sell up.

It's not likely one single thing that's driving their presence but a combination of many different things.

Did they ever open a venky takeaway chicken store in the UK?

We never struggled to attract fans when we were in the Premier League. 

Bolton, Wigan, Preston, Blackpool are all down. We could easily dominate Lancashire (and in to Cumbria and Cheshire) again if we had a marketing team worth their salt. Burnley have never held much appeal for most - even with their huge celebrity American backing (Dude Perfect / JJ Watt) they're incredibly unfashionable. 

Alas none of this will happen with the current owners in charge.
