Send Cozier-Duberry back please. Let our own youth players play from here on out. Decide who we want to keep and offer them deals.

I gave up in midweek, yesterday was better but oh so predictable in that we were the better team without creating much - and gifting them some big chances. Batth is a lot better defender than Carter unfortunately. Dolan looked clear onside to me and it was never a pen towards the end for Gueye so can't complain that the ref changed his mind.

Let JRC play, he at least has some desire to run into the opposition's box.

One final note: Ismael asked his staff who they thought should replace Dennis when he limped off and I could see Lowe said "Amario", so obviously taking some bad advise from the people who should know better 😄

No game-changers on the bench any longer though.

Enjoy your Sunday.

A perfect summary of an awful result.

If that's true about Lowe, what a fucking idiot. ACD coming on changed the game and it wasn't just because Dennis was playing well at the time. Defensively we went to pot because he kept losing it when we had players committed forward, allowing Cardiff to break. And he made no attempt to defend without the ball. Any child out of the crowd could have put in that performance.

He looks like a child out of the crowd - he's unbelievably small and slow.

Still bitterly disappointed by yesterday result and to be honest all 3 results. We should have at least got 6 points and if we had we would top 6.

I felt we witness more of the style of play Ismael wants to play with Pace and tricky wide and 2 up front. Don't see Cantwell as part of his squad next season. He hasn't lived up to what people expectations were.

Still didn't creative enough second half and after we conceded the second. It was poor defending by JRC(never a right back in a million years, should have kept Duru) and ACD(never been keen full stop). Pears should stop both goals tbh. Meite's header is centre left of the goal from behind the goal and Pears gets nowhere near it.

Mentioned earlier in the thread - apparently Gestede told fans to fuck off about something

Some on twitter said it he said and some say he said nothing. I'm nowhere near it at Ewood Park personally but I seen comments on x from different people

Read on x that a fan had a go at Travis so he had a go back.

ACD was seen as a bit of a coup at the time with a number of clubs after him, really disappointing how he's turned out, although our rotten club can't be an easy place for a kid to develop right now.

Never been overly impressed by him and I think apart from that Luton game, he has been poor overall. His first loan out and first taste of proper football

Does Ismael get any criticism for losing to 3 bottom 5 sides in the space of a week?

If yesterday is his style then I worry. The players looked like they had no idea what they were doing. We were disjointed, and we seemed keen to pass for the sake of it, slowly and side to side with absolutely no purpose. When we got the ball wide, half the time we were reluctant to cross, when we did the crossing was appalling.

How have you possibly ascertained that we want to play with pace and trickery? We have no pace and it looked like we were playing walking football.

Have you got any doubts about Ismael yet and do you still think there is any chance that we make the top 6? Surely even you have given up on that. The club has.

I was walking past the fan, when Travis had a go back. To be honest I was surprised Travis bit back but Id have smacked the fan though if I was Travis

Travis couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag, so the fan was in absolutely no danger of that happening.

Travis is back to worrying more about how to annoy his 'duellant' for the day instead of focusing on our own football. A bit of shithousery is in order when we're ahead, but it slows the game down and especially in matches like yesterday when we're better on the ball then our opponents. Overall he's had a very good season but been playing every minute since coming back from injury...

I have asked you some questions in the past 2 days but you completely ignored them but then expect me to answer your questions, do you not find that abit hypocritical from yourself?

I will answer cos otherwise I am.

I have posted my points in each game on the players and Ismael.

The game plan was get the ball out wide to Dennis/Ribeiro and Dolan/JRC. Yes we tried to keep the ball more and look to more patient in the build up instead of rushing a pass. Ismael is trying to bring in new things and his own ideas whilst to keep the good things we do. didn't we score a header goal from a cross or didn't you see that? 🙄

We can't keep a clean sheet and this has been problem for more than Ismael time here. Has soon we conceded the player's confidence takes a hit and you can see that at Derby, Stoke and yesterday

using yesterday a blue print and how we played. They trying to get the ball wide and especially to Dennis who has pace

I wouldn't be playing JRC at right back again after his poor defending performance yesterday plus second half he kept drifting inside. Brittain is a much better and balance right back

More questions than doubts. I hoping that Ismael bring more of his ideas into the team tactics and formation, cos the 17 games we won 4 games, so why need to adapt and play slightly different in situation.

For one, what was the plan tactical when he brought Cantwell and Woodrow on? why didn't he take Tronstad for Buckley instead which is the change I would make?

8 games to go and other teams tough games ahead. as we witness this week if we had managed 4 to 7 points this week we would be next or in the playoffs place.

We have to win the next games. We have 2 weeks now to get on the training pitch and sort this out.

If my Aunty had had balls etc etc........

That sort of talk goes back to the Mowbray era. "If we win the next 3 we'll be in the play off picture." We never did then and we're not going to now.

What are your thoughts on Ismael currently, given you were very seemingly very happy with his appointment?

When he failed to control the ball and lost it, I said he looks like our 5 year old grandson kicking a balloon round our front room, but with less control.

I think I said him and Wagner were the sort of appointment I expected us to make cos an European head coach would be more happy with our management structure(Gestede and Owen) and lets the recruitment department do their job

I think its been a very poor start in terms of points, yesterday and Norwich game, they were certain aspect I could see what we wanted to do. Derby game was awful and the players performance in the first 10 minutes and second half cost us massively. We don't created enough chances or put the ball into the ball enough for me.

If that was the gameplan then it wasnt very evident. Trying to keep the good things that we do? Havent seen any of that. New ideas? Certainly none that are any good.

The players didnt look like they understood what was being asked of them. All 4 performances have been terrible to watch and the points return especially considering the fixtures is unacceptable.

We kept clean sheets in 2 of the 3 games prior to Ismael joining.

Obviously the problems at the club are not just Ismael. But I have not seen one glimmer to cling onto in his 4 games that suggests that he has a clue what he is doing. This season is now a write off.

and 1 clean sheet in Eustace's last 10 games. We can all cherry pick to suit our argument but we don't come from behind in games and win games.

It doesnt take much cherry picking to see that the first 4 games under Ismael have been totally unacceptable. Any lingering top 6 hopes are in the bin and our performances as well as the results have been devoid of any slither of hope to cling onto.

If you have seen signs of a potential workable gameplan in any of the games then I suspect you are deluding yourself.

Like I said previously, I have posted my opinions on all 4 games. I have given my opinion but I answered your question over it but when I answered it you start calling me deluding, so why bother asking my questions RF99. Its utter pointless cos you don't show the same respect and answering questions posed by myself. You just ignored them.

If you think our top 6 hopes are in the bin fine, you told me more than once but you asked me question and I respectively answered it.

I heard Trav’s response too.  A guy called him out and told him he was shit. His response was  ‘you’re calling me shit? I’m the one who’s shit?.  He was clearly fizzing but appeared to be struggling to hold it together even before this. He didnt  say anything offensive  to the fan. But the inference I take is that he thought there were people in his team more worthy of being called shit than he was. And I reckon he was probably right. Tronstad was right behind him and kept his eyes elsewhere. Hyam was ahead and did the ridiculous clapping walk without emotion or connection.  Ohashi looked gutted. He bowed slightly with hands together when someone praised him for his goal but he looked genuinely disconsolate and apologetic. Maybe they’d all have been better disappearing down the tunnel at full time (like the manager). Maybe they needed to hear some of the fans anger. For my part it was pretty obvious they knew they had performed poorly..and they had. But taking our frustrations out directly on individual players is unlikely to improve their performance or their connection to the fan base and misses the real targets. The careless loss of Eustace..clearly an important influence..the appointment of someone who said he wouldn’t interfere much but has clearly confused them..the general running down of a proud, successful club that represented us and we could be proud of. Those making those decisions are really the ones to blame as others have said.  It’s no surprise that the wheels are coming off. I despair.
