As I feared, before the game. Just nothing in the tank from the players or the manager to get anything out of this one, and Cardiff simply wanted to win more than we did. It seems like that is all our opponents need to do these days, just rock up and show one ounce of desire, and we capitulate like powder puff, streaks of piss.

As they say on that silly TV programme, for that reason, "I'm out"

I wouldn't say Cardiff wanted to win more than we did, they were really poor. We were clearly putting in the effort until Dennis got injured and we effectively went down to ten men.

We're suffering from three members of the defence that got us into the top 6 out of action, a forward line that's struggled all season (and our top scorer is out), a weak bench, and a manager who clearly isn't able to grind out results.

SwagFail and their paymasters shoulder the blame for most of the above.

 observations from this aft

if duberry ever makes it as a profesional footballer,i`ll eat my hat.jeans, trainers and the grass on my lawn

valerian is`nt getting his message across and he does`nt look particularly inspiring on the touchline

we`ve gone back to looking suspect defensively, cardiffs first goal was a free header, preceeded by dennis letting the winger go past him easily

compared to earlier in the season,we don`t look well organised defensively or particularly dangerous in possesion

thats three  defeats to three tragically bad sides,it`s not looking good and i doubt we`ll win again this season, imo ismael is another coyle minus the cheerful grin

Someone has mentioned it on X. Apparently told fan(s) to f*ck off according to them.

They don’t like it if you apply some pressure. Let’s hope cracks starting to show.

If true, telling fans to fuck off isn’t great comms is it.

this manager is showing why he has not stayed anywhere long ,looks way out of his depth .Never thought after 60 years of going i would say im glad i cant get on due to watching granddaughter play on Saturdays at least she won 2-1.

I couldn't make it today cos of a water leak this morning , I don't think I missed much.

I hope the usual list of suspects got plenty of abuse ?

Mainly true, but the best (only) result he has had was a 1-1 draw against Norwich using a back 4.

16 minutes into the next game Ismael decided that he’d seen enough and ripped up the entire season’s gameplan to move us to a back 3. We’ve lost every game since.
That’s just stupid. Everyone said before the appointment that this season we don’t need someone to come in and make wholesale changes, but that’s exactly what he’s done and it’s not worked at all. That’s on him.

You’ll be lucky to have another water leak the next home game.

As I said before, his big mistake today was bringing on ACD when Dennis got injured. It was ACD losing the ball that led to their second goal, and he'd done it multiple times before that but others bailed him out. He'd also shown absolutely no desire to help out with defending our box, just allowing their players to jog by him with the ball without a challenge.

I think that says everything about Ismael and the club itself. The bench was awful which wasn't his fault, but he obviously just sees things in black and white. ACD = winger. Forshaw = midfielder. He's not done his homework on who he's picking as ACD isn't ready for professional football and Forshaw has no legs. I'm not saying we would have won but we don't lose that today if ACD is left on the bench.

Was there much in the way of Venkys Out chanting? Or anything aimed towards Waggott / Suhail / Gestede?

The club is an absolute disgrace from top to bottom. I don't see another win this season if we can't pick up a single point against 3 of the worst sides in the league.

Of our 8 remaining games, 4 are at Ewood (not that it’s a big advantage). I see maybe five points, beat Wednesday and get draws against two others.

That’s horrible but right now, considering our recent run form, I would take it.

This shower will certainly lose toWednesday. Frankly I don't see more than a couple of points at most being added to the 52 so far.

Sack the B'stard.

Maybe someone asked him what the plan is for next season? Surely none of them can look a supporter or a camera in the eye and claim there is any plan apart from destruction. We are not investing in players or offering contracts and now we have a dud of a manager on a long contract to captain the ship.

There was. But sadly many don't get it. Heard a "why blame venkys" conversation behind me, and it wasn't sarcasm.

Yet again I’m embarrassed to be a Rovers fan. It shouldn’t be like this. 150 years, FA Cup/League champions/PL/League Cup, we’ve done it all, then these fuckers trap up and ruin everything. I despise them.

We've had our legs kicked out from under us and dragged backwards on our Arse through the shit and Mud.

It first happened some fifteen years ago.

Good, about time someone called that charlatan out.

Indicative of everything that's wrong with our club, a nobody who has no credentials to do the job he's employed to do.

Fuck off Rudy.

WATR must now communicate with the club and threaten to withdraw from meetings unless the fan receives an apology and Rudy is given a warning at least.

Trying to be constructive about recent games, it's evident both Carter and Hyam play much better with someone more senior alongside them. The difference Batth makes especially to Hyam is night and day. Was also very telling today that I didn't hear a single player shouting. Maybe he was exceptionally loud but I remember when Paul Robinson was in goal you heard him from first to last whistle, organising the team even if we had possession
