Listened to Ismael's post match interview but gave up after 2 minutes. Excuse after excuse. Seems to think we played well.

Hey Im a glutton for punishment, what can I say! In all seriousness, i dont mind watching a defeat in a time of change like now to just try and understand what is in store over the coming months.

Today, I am angry. Angry that I'm finally broken... Tomorrow I will not care.

My first Rovers game was watching Alan Shearer score a hattrick at a modern and beautiful Ewood Park in 1995, in front of a packed and rocking BBE. I've seen Blackburn Rovers win the Premier League, win the Worthington Cup, play in a half dozen semifinals, compete in Europe, beat the best teams in England - consistently.

I've watch amazing players - Shearer, Friedel, Tugay, Duff, Pedersen, McCarthy, Salgado, Roque, Samba, Hendry, Dunn - and hundreds others - wear our Blue and White shirt with pride. I loved this football club, I worked for 5 years at this football club.

I've given my heart to Blackburn Rovers for 30 years... today - after 12 years on life support - that heart is dead.

Venkys, Kean, Anderson, Shebby, Waggott, Suhail, dozens others - all parasites that have taken root, and they have won.

I will go to the final 4 games this season - with apathy, and a sense of diminished nostalgia - but that will be where my journey ends with Blackburn Rovers Football Club until the poison is removed once and for all from this shell of a proud football club.

🔵

As I said earlier, we are now Venkys FC, Blackburn Rovers ceased to exist when Big Sam got fired.  A sleeping giant waiting to be awakened once these malevolent leeches final sell up. Speed the day.

I haven't read any of this thread and I think discussing results or managers or playoffs is totally irrelevant.

Everyone has the chance to show their disapproval by not buying season tickets for next season and then boycotting all matches next season until the owners leave.

The ball is in our court.  We have to do something NOW!

BOYCOTT AND RECLAIM THE ROVERS

Today was the day our group decided to walk away for next season.

Won't spend another penny until they've gone.

I sung all the anti-venky and waggott songs (bar the one about him dying). My anger and frustration has turned to apathy.

VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

You are right.

Sadly, getting rid is easier said than done.

After 14 years, I think they are determined to put "their baby" to sleep for good!

I honestly don't think, in the main, our fans have the nous to see what's happening or the stomach to do what's needed.

Sad, sad times.

Glad Rudy got some shit and the BBE chanted Venky’s Out.
The only two positives from today.

Just a shame Jack walker upper was asleep at that point as there was literally zero life up there today

Another perfect summary of Rovers ownership. A cowardly, inept performance full of poor players signed for peanuts and made to look even worse than they actually are by a desperate manager.

No positives, not one good performance by any individual. Both teams were terrible and played out a dreadful spectacle. To lose all 3 games in a week v bottom 5 sides sums us up.

It's finally come to a head, we're looking every bit of the pre-season tip for relegation and rightly so, the lack of investment over years and the inability to recycle any transfer fees received has created a very average squad. I would be hard pushed to pick out many that are of 'Championship' standard. It goes to show how good of a manager Eustace was, and he's starting to show that at Derby.

No point in blaming the players, they can't help being of that quality. The blame firmly lies with Venkys and Waggott. We've been lucky that a) we've had goalscorers (Armstrong, Szmodics, Brereton Diaz to a lesser degree but great before he down tools) to dig us out and b) we were very lucky to capture two excellent managers JDT and Eustace who were simply never backed.

The last few years have seriously papered over the cracks, the day was going to come that we appoint a coach who is just as sub-standard as the players and he were are, things are about unravel big time.

I think we would've been battling relegation with the current squad of players, but with a potential mass exodus on the cards, there is no way their replacements will improve the squad.  The lack of long-term planning at this club is frankly shocking...but not surprising.

There have been so many final straws. Football fans are very fickle but they are also fiercely loyal and for unfathomable reasons we’re all still here. O’Brien was the final straw and McGuire was the final nail in the coffin. We’d long since run out of metaphors by the time Eustace left for a relegation candidate after being the 3rd manager to be let down in the January window after getting the team into playoff contention.  I really hope I can disengage more completely this time.

Is there any more about the Travis / Gestede arguments with fans?

seems like a very unsettled ship Ewood if truth behind these

Director of Football Gestede said 'Fuck off' to 13,000 of the 31,000 capacity Ewood park.

At no point during this did he sense an issue, which is probably why we are where we are

You often here people say there's no easy games in the championship.

Absolute bollocks, we're an absolute shambles and if you're needing point for a promotion push or a relegation battle, we're the team to play.

I genuinely don't think we'll win again all season now.

We will win, and all we be forgotten, happens every time, unfortunately.
