Difficult to take Travis' words seriously when we've seen many of these players capitulate in the second half of seasons time and time again. I understand that as captain he has to say something, and it's reasonable for him to say the players take responsibility, but there's no reason for anyone to assume things will be any different from the last 4 or 5 times this has happened. That benefit of the doubt, for me at least, has long gone. The fact is if they genuinely haven't been sulking and performing poorly because of what's been going on at the club, they've likely already thrown our chances away with the last few dismal performances. Not for the first time, but maybe for the last time, as next season and beyond is looking pretty grim if Venky's remain in situ.

What is our record after the festive season in the last 5 years?  I don’t think the current performance is anything new and comes down to one simple thing. Too small of a squad with not enough quality and depth to get trough the congested season and push on to the finish.

I've given up listening to interviews to be honest, they are simply a contractual obligation. There can't be many players that are happy here to be honest, I can't blame then when the club is literally not even speaking to players about their future contracts.

Yes it was so.obvious to all of us. An arrangement to maintain spirit was all that was needed.

Pity we lost at Swansea. We could have hopefully plodded on for a little while longer.

Can't remember exactly but the run under Eustace before he left was something like 2 wins in 11. The league position belied the fact that we were on a terrible run.

Then again, it doesn't really matter what formation is used if the players fail to turn up.

Yes it was 2 wins in 10 under Eustace, Lowe 2 wins in 3 games and Ismael 0 wins in 3.

It's not like we were loads of games before Ismael. 

We need to creating more chances than we do.
