Players not being paid

Can anybody share any inside knowledge on the rumours that the players haven’t been paid this month? Just been mentioned on Blackburn Roverseas podcast that there are murmuring of this coming out of the club.

The authorities quickly step in when players aren't paid. Seriously doubt we've got to that stage... yet.

At this point the players not being paid would be a blessing in disguise. Though I'd be seriously questioning why not being as even without Venkys we should have the money from Wharton/Szmodics/Raya etc to pay them. 

If it were the case I'd also be asking why Waggott gets such a big pay rise. I mean, I'm asking that anyway, but especially so in that instance.

The rumours I’m seeing on FB are that one of our players has told his mother that certain players didn’t get paid this month and it’s got out from there. I stress, total hearsay so I’m fishing for any further information on here.

Dirk said he’s been messaged of somebody connected to the club (wouldn’t disclose who) and that the rumour is that certain players haven’t been paid. 
 

People are claiming on FB that rumours were widespread around the club yesterday.

What a ridiculous situation it is that I actually dare to hope it might be true just because it would surely be the beginning of the end for venkys. I dream of the first match under new owners.

 

In reality though, this doesn't feel true at all.

As much as some might like this to be true I cant see there being anything in it.

If there was an issue why would only certain players not be paid and not all of them?

Unless there was a glitch in the system or someone mistakenly missed them off the payroll.

I would expect this to be a bit more widely known if true but you never know.

I really hope it is true and administration beckons soon.

As we know, there were rumours in here about the previous manager being unhappy and looking to move and that turned out to be true. Sad as it sounds, hopefully this is true too, as it can’t be brushed off that everything is good at the club, if it turns out to be true.

If that happens, then questions start to be asked and the owners come under the spotlight.

Venkys will never allow that to happen.

Apparently it came from a friend of a player via that Roverseas guy on YouTube. The rumour has since been quashed.

How has that Roverseas dude got such a large social media following? He never made a post worth reading on here.

If true, would expect something to break either today or tomorrow.

News of cash flow difficulties tends to start as a trickle of rumour and speculation and then suddenly the 'dam breaks'. 

Would not be a surprise.

It would be a huge surprise and it won’t be true, just like the annual ‘we’ll be in administration this time next year’ predictions never are.

Players not getting paid and HMRC not being paid are about the only things that raise an eye brow of the authorities. If there is any truth, which I doubt as Venkys do enough to prevent that, word would be out officially quickly.

That is correct. I suspect that if we had won our last three games, rather than losing them, this "story" would never have seen the light of day.

Does he have a general entertainment site of some other sort which is popular?
