I haven't given up this season on a playoff place actually

We've just lost against 3 of the worst teams in the league while Bristol and Cov are flying.

We need to win at least 5 of our remaining 8 games and hope the two above (and likely one or two others) do worse than that.

You're kidding yourself.

What's your opinion of what this will cost and how much do you think will be available form either self- Generated funds ( Wharton sell on clause) and money from the owners?

Just to add to my early post I do think we will look into the foreign markets again like last summer with Gueye and Ohashi and January with Karbgo.

The number 1 priority for me is new first choice keeper.

I expect a summer of loans and free transfers all done very late before the first game like last season to save paying wages in pre-season.

Due to the extraordinary numbers we need due to contracts ending and loans returning I expect our bench to be almost all academy players as well.

Welcome to the shit show.

I expected Dolan to go. Probably Derby.

I would re-sign Batth and Weimann. Forshaw I would re-sign..

Wouldnt sign any loan players permanently.

Ribeiro I'm undecided on. Poor the last 3 games.

Pears need selling. Toth either sell or loan..

Hyam, might be tempted to sell if the right offer there.

incomings

A quality number 1 keeper is the main priority for me. Plus a number 2 keeper. Need someone who command the box, good communicate and good reflexes.

Pacey right winger.

centre midfielder x2

A centre back if Hyam or Carter sold.

Striker with pace.

Left back if Ribeiro isn't re-sign.

Would use JRC as right wide player not a right back for me. Brittain then Duru as our right backs option

You'd re-sign forshaw but undecided on Ribeiro? 🫣

Transfer thread bingo:

We need pace

Dolan will go to Derby

Shit show

Is anybody bothered about Dolan going to Derby,? I know I'm not, getting slightly pissed off with  the pirouettes and drag backs and step overs that inevitably end up with him losing the ball .

Ordinarily, no.

The trouble here though, is that we'll likely get lumbered with a replacement who's even worse.

Hopefully if they have finally got to the bottom of Gilsenans injury problems, ( which they think they have), he could hopefully turn out to be an important player for us next season

I dont mind him people properly lose their shit over him doing what he does, he creates spaces sometimes and hunts the ball down which alot of the time forces rushed plays from the opposition yea his end product doesn't always emerge but his work rate is good

The Lancashire Telegraph have reported how numerous players havent been even spoken to regarding new deals, Travis included.

The owners must have blocked new deals.

They've got to get those agent's fees up somehow. No better way to do that than signing a whole new squad every year.

Doesn't his contract end at the season?.

With an option so him and Hedges are nice easy ways to avoid signing new players and to keep the cost down. Doesnt matter than neither are good enough, the priority is to cut costs.

Im guessing from another thumbs down that you are still expecting us to have a successful summer.

No I wouldn't keep Markanday at all. Not good enough at all.

We see what summer we have in the summer. We see then. I'm not going to write my club off and what will happen in summer in fecking March.

I'm writing my club's summer transfer dealings off months before they begin because I've read the script.
