Lancaster Rover Posted Tuesday at 10:16 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:16 As early bird prices at a club where fan engagement is probably at one of its lowest ebbs go they really are the pits. £400 to sit in the BBE, have a day off.

BigUts Posted Tuesday at 10:20 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:20 Glad my mind was made up before the latest fraud that is these season ticket prices. It's utterly embarrassing that we aimed for only 4,400 adult season tickets last season. A club local to me, Marine, who are in the 6th tier have 1,000. Our club is a fucking mess from top to bottom
... Posted Tuesday at 10:20 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:20 Should be fuckin ashamed of themselves. I'm not paying that I'm sorry but that's just wrong. 150th anniversary and kicked us all in the nuts. Thanks very much.
Backroom Madon Posted Tuesday at 10:20 Backroom Share Posted Tuesday at 10:20 Jesus wept we need a new CEO and fast. 4000 adult season tickets sold last year. If we somehow repeat that this year it brings in approx 1.6 million. Rather than putting the prices up, why not massively play on the 150 year thing and set all adult tickets at £150. If we sell 10,000 of them (which I honestly don't think we'd be far off at that price) it brings in approx 1.5m. The further 100k is then made up in food & shop sales. Maybe Rovers would go bust if I was in charge but in my head it sounds like a very reasonable idea!
Backroom Tom Posted Tuesday at 10:21 Backroom Share Posted Tuesday at 10:21 (edited) Looks like apart from the Jack Walker lower which is frozen the rest of the adult standard tickets are increased by £50 - a 14% increase on a Blackburn end adult ticket which is really the core offering Edited Tuesday at 10:22 by Tom

Popular Post Herbie6590 Posted Tuesday at 10:27 Popular Post Share Posted Tuesday at 10:27 Thought experiment…fans who want to renew, do so only in the Riverside. The other 3 sides become ghost towns. How long before the TV gantry returns to the JW Stand 😆

superniko Posted Tuesday at 10:31 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:31 They didn’t announce the prices anywhere in email, or social without clicking into the link, as they knew they’d get slagged for it. Weren’t the trust meant to be involved in the process of pricing this year or did I misread that on here? So out of touch, record low sales for next season, and nobody at the club even cares. Hopefully this wakes a few fans up.

alex l Posted Tuesday at 10:35 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:35 Suppose the only positive this year is getting them on sale early, compared to previous years. Might give them time to re-think the pricing when sales plunge. So little imagination to the pricing or anniversary, merely being used as the basis of their marketing. Shame. RevidgeBlue Posted Tuesday at 10:36 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:36 Looking at it overall, it seems a lot too expensive for seniors, JW upper, and for the Blackburn End. No complaints on price I don't suppose if you're in the Riverside or in one of the categories for younger fans. Won't affect me either way, I won't be attending irrespective of price until they give me a reason to do it either in terms of genuine investment on the team or signs of real progress on the pitch. That isn't covered by chasing away a decent head coach on the occasions we're lucky enough to stumble across one. It's also heartbreaking seeing Waggott screw every last penny out of the Club for his own personal gain before the gravy train shudders to a halt for the final time and he departs leaving behind a lifeless husk instead of our once great Club.
StHelensRover Posted Tuesday at 10:37 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:37 (edited) Why can't they read the room? Large sections of the fanbase are either really fed up or absolutely furious with the way the club is being run. Then they stick these prices up with a jingoistic promo video. A target of 4400 season tickets being sold is absolutely embarrassing for this historic football club, can't believe they've even said that on record, every other club in Lancashire ( + probably everywhere else) will be pissing their sides laughing at us. There are probably several clubs in league 2 shifting more than that. How can Washa and Paggott be openly announcing that. Didn't the club have almost 20k season ticket holders when the the Wankys bought the club? What do Pasha and Waggott have to say about that? Could someone ask them directly what their thoughts are on that at next forum? Edited Tuesday at 10:39 by StHelensRover
davulsukur Posted Tuesday at 10:38 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:38 😂 To think we were half expecting some surprise that the club might grow a pair, try and win back some fans and really play on the 150 year anniversary by offering £150 season tickets. Instead they have shot themselves in the foot BIG time. With supporter confidence at an all time low, they've almost gone out of their way to destroy the fragile relationship even further. I hope they've lowered their expectations this time around because it'll be 3500 adult season tickets at absolute best, this time around. They *may* sell more…that Riverside price is attractive at £13 per game (assuming you can attend 23 games of course). I wonder how many will switch stands to make a point.
davulsukur Posted Tuesday at 10:46 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:46 At the time of writing this, there are 32 comments on the Twitter post about season tickets. 100% of them are negative about the club and/or season tickets. Only 1 reply says they will renew but it still wasn't a positive comment. They're so unbelievably out of touch it's unreal. They've lost another good chunk of the fanbase now, people are perhaps finally coming round to the realisation that the club is a total shambles and there is only 1 way fix that.
Lancaster Rover Posted Tuesday at 10:47 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:47 The discounted U18's are being subsidised by the inflated Adult prices, where you can't get a child's ticket without an adult. So they're massively playing on that. A child was 40 quid or something last year with an adult £340 - so overall an increase of £60 across an adult and junior ST in BBE. Criminal if you ask me.
