Waggot was an upgrade on Shaw that's for sure and don't forget a former programme printer became his assistant director.

Then we had a former SKY tv reporter come in to communicate with fans who was then gagged but became a football director.

Something tells me they're returning to type again and if there is a post Waggot era to come it could get even more messy.

Any waverers reading today's communique from the Club may well have just had their minds made up for them.

A totally rushed, half arsed, pointless, unhelpful, insulting and antagonistic statement, as usual failing to do anything to tackle the issues we face instead coming out with blatant lies and nonsense.

Their standard playbook. Say nothing or come out with a platitude ridden statement on a blue background and wait for it to blow over - perhaps it won’t this time…

We've run that statement through a couple of tools to check for AI content - around half of it was produced by a ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar. They couldn't even be arsed to draft a proper response...

They'd have been better to just keep shut. They've called the bluff of the fanbase one too many times and I think this time it's not going to work.

Out of curiosity, how did you do that? I'm not in any way a tech person.

Someone in the group spotted it first, I then put the statement through a paid tool I use daily - https://quillbot.com/ai-content-detector and followed up by putting it through 3/4 others - a search for 'check for AI' pulls up a number of free tools.

Have to say the whole 'Be part of the story' guff for the season tickets absolutely reeked of AI.

A three quarters empty ground, inhabited by zombies watching terrible football and giving thanks and praise to Venkys.

A horror story.

I'm undecided.

What are your thoughts on the price increases?

I think its what I expected from Rovers.

Is it what I would have done? nope. I would offered price reductions and it would be operation fill Ewood and I would offered incentives on club merchandise like free hat, scarf and glove set for any under 12's buying a season ticket or free 20% on a home shirt for all STH.

I would go £199 for Riverside, £249 for BBE and Lower Jack Walker stand and £299 for JWO and £339 for JWC. Adults

Under 12's would have been £23 all parts for the ground.

Will I be buy Season ticket for 25/26 season? You are damned right I will. Me, my bro and nephew will be renewing

I know many in 1) & 2) and personally, I have a foot in both camps. However, enough is enough and after 43 years as a ST holder, I am very sadly considering non-renewal for the bigger picture and greater cause.

The quandary is, boycott, or go and protest ?

Either approach works but only basis that everyone agrees and follows the same path. A full toxic Ewood or silent and empty Ewood would clearly convey the same message.

That is why I would like to know which one best suits the phase two action plan. Personally I would big up the Indian tradition of non aggressive protest, by informing all the media that due to the unwanted ones attending the game, we the fans will not be attending, and ask the media to get the clubs comments, on why such a low crowd. It would need to be advertised to the Rovers fans as, the way to fight back.
