Ghost7 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 They should take them off sale, reassess the product and try again in August. 2 Quote

I think if the club had something even remotely positive to boast about with season ticket sales, they would have done it by now. I suspect the sales are in the toilet, big time and the club can't find even the smallest positive angle to spin. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Its not been a week yet since they went on sales. I haven't renew yet but I will be doing before the deadline happens 3 Quote
JHRover Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 4 weeks on Friday is the first pointless 'deadline'. Nobody, probably not even those making the decisions, knows what happens on 2nd May in terms of pricing. Will there be a third or fourth phase? I won't be cajoled into handing money over early only to then watch them demolish the squad and fill it up again with frees and loans. The ball is in their court to show me (and others) why we should continue to fund this regime. 3 Quote

Come on, JH, you know full well there is no chance of an adequate level of investment being made between now and August. I'm sorry if folk don't like reading it, but anyone who buys season or match tickets is helping to prop up this failing regime. Edited March 31 by martonrover 6 Quote

That is, if the club say anything about it Quote

Should have been doing all this interviews weeks ago. 6 hours ago, martonrover said: Come on, JH, you know full well there is no chance of an adequate level of investment being made between now and August. Its a bit rich saying that now given you aren't buying one for next season, but you backed this regime for years by buying one using your own words. Quote

Tomphil2 Posted yesterday at 08:03 Posted yesterday at 08:03 Speaking to a Stoke fan yesterday he tells me they've frozen ST prices for 15 years and offer free away travel in order to keep fed up fans off the ownership's back. 15 years sounds a bit of a stretch but fair play if true. Quote
Mattyblue Posted yesterday at 08:10 Posted yesterday at 08:10 It is true. Which is strange as haven’t they heard of ‘massively increased operating costs’ 6 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted yesterday at 08:47 Posted yesterday at 08:47 (edited) He did say their owners guarantee to put in the max over every FFP cycle to guarantee they remain competitive and transfer sale money is always to be re-invested. Like here though the middle of the club is full of idiots and parasites which means they never progress. We don't even operate that model now and Suhail admitted as much, from benefactor model to selling to survive model. There's only so long you can get away with that and it'll only ever decimate the ST base even further. Their future thinking very much appears to be we'll fleece the 9k as much as we possibly can. They are our real fans and they'll keep coming back whatever. Idiots. Edited yesterday at 08:49 by Tomphil2 2 Quote
