Losing a couple of thousand STH aren't going to tipping point or put any pressure on anyone. Let’s agree to disagree. I think we could be looking at far greater season ticket losses next season. I’m not talking about a couple of thousand. No point in labouring this conversation any further. Quote

Popular Post glen9mullan Posted Thursday at 22:14 Popular Post Posted Thursday at 22:14 My general thoughts is Rovers has become a breeding ground over the last 15 years for people to make a quick buck, perk with zero interest in either the success or detriment their actions have on the club. We've owners who pay the deficit and are very much kept at arms length with "don't worry we've got this, we will cut your outlay" This has allowed people to get wealthy on the decline of our club. It's allowed people to get the strangest internal promotions or be given a job at a football club with zero experience of actually working at one. It's allowed strange transfers to occurr where back handers have washed through the club so those with influence get even richer. Even in the supporter base perks over heart and soul has become something I'm really struggling to get my head around, but has played its part in free reign by those who don't care one jot about our club. All they care about is the £££ that enter their accounts. I genuinely believe the Venkys ain't got a clue what's going on They've seen no discontent for years until recently. I'd go as far as saying right now it's worse than the Anderson days. A new breed of leaches that offer zero to a professional football club. This summer is gong to see gaping holes in the blood suckers story. Empty seats cannot be hidden in terms of revenue. I'm under no illusion these season tickets won't be flying off the shelves. The club may at their peril think the uprising has subsided. How wrong they are. I fully expect them to use WATR and the FF as their shield over the next two weeks suggesting they represent the majority view. Rovers are currently stuck in April, the coalition are now in September. Nice thing about sitting by a pool for a week it gives you time to focus and roadmap actions and balance probabilities. Our voice ain't for sale, we stand up because we believe we've a club worth fighting for. We are comfortable in being uncomfortable as success requires you to go to the very limit of uncomfortableness. I can only speak for myself when I look in the mirror each day. I've spent my whole life making the impossible possible, I don't quit, I don't scare, I move forwards and continue to do so with purpose and belief. Keep the faith guys, stand together and let's show the world that we really do bleed blue and white 23 Quote

Whilst thing are as they are, I won't be renewing my ST. Shit owners, shit management, stupid KO times & I'm expected to pay £120 more for me & my daughter! She now says she can't be arsed. She's 20 in June & now sees the bigger picture. To the point now where we can't be arsed going tomorrow. (Well, today now) she only finishes work at 2, I've got to set my stuff at the pub to DJ Tomorrow night, we can't be arsed rushing to go & support something which the owners & management can't even support. 6 Quote

Whether they actually did so is another matter entirely… I thought the last time we looked at this it was just the accounts catching up with the lump sum approved in late 2023 but could be wrong. 1 Quote

The last allotment of shares into Blackburn Rovers was June 2023. So looks like it never made it to the club. Quote
Tomphil2 Posted Friday at 12:09 Posted Friday at 12:09 When and how did they square off the 8 million loan Suhail was banging on about ? Quote

I’m assuming this is the Crossbaron Loan taken out in October 2023 by Venkateshwara London Limited. Venkateshwara London Limited’s accounts (year ending 31/3/2024) had £5 million secured against property owned by them and by a guarantee from a fellow group company. Venkys London Limited’s accounts (same year end as above) confirm they are the fellow group company who gave the guarantee. This loan was paid off in November ‘24. I’m also assuming they borrowed £8 million but had already paid back £3 million by the time the accounts were produced - it’s that or Pasha is inflating the figures for affect… Edited Friday at 16:57 by wilsdenrover 1 Quote

I think this is different money (but could, as I often am, be wrong!) to that conversation and am basing this on the below from the most recent Rover’s accounts: Edited Friday at 17:18 by wilsdenrover To add correct screenshot! 1 Quote

They've had enough of all the bullshit coming from the stooges and the Venkys not understanding/willing to run us correctly even after all these years I don’t blame them, I feel the same. It will be interesting to see if there is a big collapse in ST numbers. I think there’ll definitely be another fall off, just not sure how dramatic. What was it this season, 4000 adult ST’s sold? Lots of fans have already had enough at those numbers. The club are just relying on blind loyalty at this point. The summer will be crucial. Show some ambition and the club may retain quite a few of the 4k, take the piss again and it could be carnage. And without the adults. They aren’t going to sell the kids tickets, as your family is showing. I said a few weeks ago that the 1 metric that seems to bother Pasha is ST sales. He referenced his disappointment at current numbers recently if I’m not mistaken. I’m guessing that’s how he’s judged in Pune. He’d be wise not to take the piss this summer. 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted Friday at 18:51 Posted Friday at 18:51 We have 9,100 ST holders (not including half STs) Gut feel, we’ll limp to about 6k. An absolute calamity in comparison to where we were when they bought the club, but in reality won’t push them any closer to the exit door in and of itself. Quote
Doogs Posted Friday at 19:41 Posted Friday at 19:41 Matty..I was in the not renewing boat. But sure, I will miss live football. So it's a maybe now... Quote
Tomphil2 Posted Friday at 19:52 Posted Friday at 19:52 Games like today remind you what it's all about and if only they'd turned up at Derby things might look a little different now. Quote
Upside Down Posted Friday at 20:40 Posted Friday at 20:40 They were definitely rattled by the low sales this season. If sales fail again for next season then they'll really start sweating. Quote

Entertainment for the fans .........what's left of them. If you and a few thousand others are happy with being set up to fail year after year, that's fine, enjoy. Dead rubber wins don't excite me at all, and evidently I'm not alone in that thinking, as the thousands of empty seats illustrate. Yesterday was like choosing the winning numbers for the lottery after the draw had been made. 3 Quote
