I imagine most who are renewing will do so at the end of this month when they get paid.

Be surprised if it's more than a few thousand at this stage though.

Has there been any info about Player/Goal of the Season vote? Less than a week until our final home game when they're traditionally presented.

Like those early European cathedrals that took hundreds of years to complete. By the time they were finished everyone who started out on  the "Journey" were long dead.

The difference between that example and Venkys?----the cathedrals were eventually finished.

Yeah normally they do show the goals in contention at the penultimate home game (sometimes even earlier) and I always think ‘what if we score some crackers today?’… which we did on Friday!

Maybe a decision has now been made to leave it as late as possible to catch as many late contenders as possible… or they are still looking into it

I watched them from the concourse before the Millwall game, did they not appear on the big screen?

By 2nd May, if sales are as low as has been suggested, the likelihood of them selling many more post phase 1 would be minimal, you would think.

Something would have to give in order to prevent an unmitigated financial disaster.

However, I think they'll get a concentration of sales in the last couple of days, once people have been paid end-May.

The irony is after years of them being ridiculously slow in getting them on sale the one year they did pull their fingers out it was the worst possible timing.

25th March they went on sale, when the club was at the lowest of ebbs, terrible run ongoing on the pitch, the Eustace debacle still fresh, Glen’s campaign ramping up followed by the car crash of the three stooges’ boardroom appearance.

Ergo many fans have already made up their mind to not renew regardless of this late rally. Of course some will reconsider, but if the tickets had gone on sale on the 25th April instead (even the 25th May) I’d wager they’d have got away with relatively minimal levels of non-renewals.

Just like for years we were calling for an early bird discount then when they knock 30 quid off it's on the back of the worst season in years to a backdrop of more budget cuts and player sales.

Then they look around in bewilderment because sales don't fly.

Complete idiots.

Their only play this stage is to extend the early bird and spin it as a thank you. Would take a very brave person to increase them.

Also with safe standing and Rovers only mentioning it say once via social media, wait until people renew and realise their seat is now a rail seat.

The safe standing element has been extremely lazy with supporters not even balloted if they'd like to stand in those areas, or at the same time those who'd like to stand wouldn't get a chance of those in those area renewed.

I know my brother because he takes his young lad has made the decision not to renew as he didn't want to move seats and don't want his boy in a safe standing area where he's unlikely to be able to see.

Certain things trigger different people but lack of engagement on this decision is mindless tbh

Don't see the point of the safe standing proposed by these clowns unless it's nothing more than a bit of fake virtue signalling.

Either do it properly with at least 1500 in the middle across the back or don't bother as it'll have very little impact on the atmosphere.

A few positive results will have created a whiff of optimism and persuade a few people to have a rethink now, not huge numbers but no doubt the club will play on how we nearly made the play offs, again and that fans could help give us the extra push next season 🙄
