Hasta Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) The Riverside. Genuine question as there may be many, but is there another stand in the Championship that doesn't have an underneath concourse? Where you queue for your snacks in the rain? Edited March 25 by Hasta Quote

It does have a undercover concourse at the top where they sell beer, no idea if food is served there too though. 3 Quote

In 37 years I've never been in there! I also don't think I've ever watched a game from the top tier of the BBE or DE stands. Edited March 25 by Hasta Quote

Riverside’s absolutely fine I spent all of my early years watching from the Riverside terraces, before eventually moving to the Blackburn End, when the kids were born. All 3 of us had season tickets in the lower tier and all love our time there. Sadly, this has been destroyed forever now and although my Grandson is a Rovers fan, I am struggling to build the club up too much to him. Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I think we can conclude the general consensus is not good on Pricing. They have been repeatedly told about the economic demographics of the surrounding area but it just appears to fall on Deaf Ears.Add to that a team that appears to have blown its best chance in years of getting into the play offs and well, you reap what you sow. 6 Quote

Rogerb Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Loosing £17 million a year. Adam Wharton stays at Palace next summer. Then must be high odds of running out of money next season with court case perennial postponement. Anyone buying a season ticket should use a credit card. 2 Quote
Popular Post superniko Posted March 25 Popular Post Posted March 25 I saw today Bournemouth posted 2023/24 revenue of £170m - yes Bournemouth with their 11k capacity stadium, a club who have spent 80 of their 94 year history at levels 3 or 4 in the pyramid. We could be something completely different had we a different outcome back in 2012 11 Quote
BigHoz Posted March 25 Posted March 25 With all the crap that’s going on with the club I genuinely thought they’d pull something special out the bag for once (deluded) with the season tickets just to salvage what support was remaining and the 150th year. Instead the fans get a price hike, the stadium and squad gets more taken out of it, where is my incentive to think yes I can get behind this let’s do it. Sadly another year on the firestick it is. 3 Quote

scotchrover Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Just seen the prices and I won’t be renenwing. I’ve been a season ticket holder for a while too. As much as I love my BBE seat for the view it has (row 29, very central), I’m boycotting. My last game was against Norwich and I won’t be setting foot inside Ewood, unless they put the club up for sale. Also, £400 to watch the youth team play (which is what it’s likely to be, next season), is daylight robbery. 6 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted March 25 Posted March 25 is the tide finally turning on maggot and pasha???seems to be an opinion across all social media that season tickets will be laughably low Quote

Upside Down Posted March 25 Posted March 25 To put it bluntly, If you don't like the price of the season ticket then don't buy one. Keep your money and vote with your feet. Don't buy one then spend the rest of the time bitching about it, buy paying the price they've set you have consented to the price. Quote
