He is squad player now for me, I'm not saying he should be starting every game but he would be on my bench at least and he gives you hard work, team player, can play in 4 positions and score the odd goal. You need these types of players in your squad and I think having 2 or 3 players who can play 2 or 3 different positions are good assets in a squad. 

I just think people's thoughts are what he isn't and in factor ignored that he was picked alot of the time by our previous head coaches and people seems to think if Eustace had loads of money he wouldn't have been picked and Eustace would be more attacking where as I don't think

Is that your token response now whenever a question is asked that you know you cant answer, in this case because there is an inconsistency in your logic? If Hedges' worth is proven because managers pick him, surely so is Pears' worth? IMO, both have played so much simply as a symptom of our lack of budget and poor recruitment over a number of years. Every window we call for "a new number 1" and a "pacy winger."

Offers hard work and is a team player. They should be a given. Versatile? Equally ineffective in a few positions. And scores "the odd goal!" You are stretching it there, literally one this season, one last. Youve literally listed goalscoring as one of his strengths.

More than willing to answer questions, but I expect it to work the other way but with yourself you either ignored it(like my questions in the recruitment/scouting thread) or don't answer(like what your starting 11 for England in the first world cup game), 

so there is little point in discussing with you unless you show the same respect and curiously to answer my questions.

Does it matter if he's lost the dressing room now? He'll be losing a lot of it in the summer anyway most likely and will have to find a new one. With the help of the Barrett Homes of the Championship.

For anyone heading to Portsmouth, I suggest sparing yourselves the misery of the game to visit the excellent Naval Museum.

Then maybe a little sail over to The Isle of Wight.

Watched England v Latvia and was struck by how even a mediocre goaly (Zviedris of Riga?) dominated his box. Similar size and build to Pears but chalk and cheese in ability. This guy actually caught the ball, who'd have thought such a thing was possible. Wild flappy punches and diverting the odd one into your net was obligatory I thought. I know which one I'd prefer in the nets v Portsmouth's big lumps up front.

Portsmouth 2-0 after 15 minutes, double yellow for one of ours and another season ending injury for a key player. Can't wait.

Sort of agree that classic Championship is go on a poor run and then pull a decent result out of nowhere. So wouldn't be that surprised if we got a win against the odds.

All the signs are there for another Rovers defeat, Rovers off form, Portsmouth on form at home. I hope I'm proven wrong, according to the LT, we could have up to 4 players back, Batth and Pickering included. I'm going 1-3 to Rovers.

Some teams loose 5 in a row, and end up in the top 6, let's not throw in the towel, until it's mathematically impossible.

We have to start the game well and not concede any early goals like we have done in the last three away matches. In each of these the home crowd and players were visibly lifted whilst we were almost shell shocked. Ideally a clean sheet for starters and try to nick one for us. A passionate, partisan crowd need to be silenced.

It's a big test for Ismael and the players after the no shows at Derby, Stoke and at home to Cardiff when you could see confidence visibly disappearing from some players.I

Hopefully the drive home will be better than it has on most of the long distance away matches this season.

Not sure on the total allocation but looks like there's not many left at all so another good Saturday afternoon long trek following on the cards.

Time for the wallflowers to wake up from minute 1 and this head coach to show some grit not look like hes just been dropped into the dugout to watch the match.

It's happened to us, the last 3 or 4 seasons, a half full dressing room full of injuries. With a flimsy squad like ours, we're bound to pick up injuries with players being overplayed.
