We have to start the game well and not concede any early goals like we have done in the last three away matches. In each of these the home crowd and players were visibly lifted whilst we were almost shell shocked. Ideally a clean sheet for starters and try to nick one for us. A passionate, partisan crowd need to be silenced.

It's a big test for Ismael and the players after the no shows at Derby, Stoke and at home to Cardiff when you could see confidence visibly disappearing from some players.I

Hopefully the drive home will be better than it has on most of the long distance away matches this season.

We've been weak in defence the last 3 or 4 matches, which the opposition have taken full advantage of. Hopefully we'll have Batth, Pickering, and maybe Beck back.

Dingles will beat Bristol.

Norwich and brom could go either way.

Middlesborough to beat oxford.

We are still in it and as much as it looks completely dead and hopeless, we are just one of those teams that can pull a run of wins of nowhere, we are so unpredictable and I'm not confident but it's not over with this team..

Under this manager we haven’t looked capable of winning a game never mind putting a run together. I’d say this is probably VI’s toughest fixture to date too.

We normally finish seasons quite strongly, once the pressure is off to do anything.

Think we'll have to lose a few more first just to make it dead before a winning run to 8th place....

If it doesn’t happen at Portsmouth it’s not going to happen and the Mowbray style negative spiral will continue through the tougher looking remaining fixtures.
it’s time for our lot to show they have the cajones that unexpectedly came to the fore at WBA.
I hope the only bumpy ride I experience on Saturday is the Isle of Wight hovercraft trip to and from Portsmouth.

I admire the optimism. I’m normally an optimist too. But those last 3 performances have really taken the wind out of my sails for this season. Couple that with the bullshit we’re having to endure off the pitch, and it really is bleak.

I’m generally sunshine pumping, and I will continue that today; I’m going for an anxiety-filled, 1-1 encounter.

I have more confidence in the players we have, than in the manager. Even with so many players back, nothing will be easy the rest of the way this season.

A Mother's day prediction! Roses are red, violets are blue, Portsmouth 0 Rovers 2.

Me too. Normally.

This has been a particularly bad run of results and performances however at a critical time of the season.

Even the likes of Hyam, Travis and Btittain have looked very average. We have missed Beck and Batth enormously. And still not scored enough to cover defensive frailties.

If I was the manager I'd be desperate for a result, but he appears remarkably chilled out on the touchline and in interviews.

We are five points off 6th. We either start winning or we will end up simply.going through the motions for the remainder of the season.

The players have largely struggled since December. Other than two games under Lowe. Too many individual errors. Too many below par performances.

I think you’re confusing Mother’s Day and Valeriantines Day

We beat them 3-0 at Ewood at a canter, no reason why we can't repeat it.

That's not how I remember that game, I remember it being very cagey at 1-0 and if a couple of close refereeing calls had gone the other way... Etc...
