We beat them 3-0 at Ewood at a canter, no reason why we can't repeat it.

Portsmouth have the biggest difference between their home form and away from of anyone in the league (32 point at home, 10 away). This will be much tougher.

They have a lot of players out according to the telegraph no confidence we will win like but would have been tougher a few weeks ago

Absolute home banker, without wanting to read too much like a n other poster on here, Portsmouth at 11/10 is worth a flutter

I'm surprised they're as long as that to be honest, they turned over a much stronger Leeds side there recently!

Woke up feeling optimistic this morning..

Going for an unexpected Rovers' win at 12/5.

Pompey have a number of players missing, return of Batth and Beck will make enough of a difference and more than outweigh the uselessness of Hedges likely selection.

Sadly, a Rovers' win will make Friday's home game against Middlesbrough somewhat less toxic for Waggott, Pasha and Gestede.

Not in my opinion of them.

Losing might actually be the better outcome today and I have a pathological hatred of losing. Promotion is vanishingly unlikely given how poor we are at moment. A grim procession of defeats to finish off the season will turn up the heat further. It finally feels like there is some momentum and it would be just our luck for an upturn in fortune on the pitch to dampen the fan’s ire.

What if I told you Woodrow starts up top in a 442 🤔

i can only see us being outworked, outrun and outmuscled, like all the games under ismael, though having batth and beck back is a major bonus, wonder if ismael will drop hyam instead of carter,i certainly would, hyam has gone back to being the fanny he was last season

Let’s face it, it’s quite possible we will win or two between now and the end of the season, but that makes no difference to the bigger picture.

We, (again), had a manager who, with the right backing in January, could’ve had us in with a shout of promotion.

Winning a few, end of season dead rubbers is meaningless.

As inimical as this may seem, I can certainly see the logic in this.

As it is, I see it's losing and Pompey scoring three and the clumsoid between the sticks helping at least one into his own net
